Things has been going great since I've ran into E'mani that Sunday at church thanks to Mrs. Wright. I never thought that E'mani and I would even be conversing and spending as much time together that we are. Nevertheless, I'm thankful for it. Its been a couple of weeks since we been kicking it and I invited her over for dinner tonight. Its different for a dude like me to be going the extra mile for a female. But E'mani isn't some regular female.
I had a crib over on Welland Ave up in Baldwin Hills that I paid a good 800,000 dollars for. since I'm always back and forth between New Orleans, the Chi and here. What makes it even better is I usually call up my baby mama to send my girls out here on their school breaks so they have some where to come and reside. You know? Get away from the norm for a little.
Ever since I got the movie role for Eazy, I've fallen in love with Cali and now that I'm for sure that I'm in love with his daughter, I don't ever want to leave Los Angeles. Anyway, I had the evening off to do anything I wanted to and decided that I wanted to spend it with E'mani. I know she said she had to go to some meeting in regards to signing a new contract with Fenty Beauty to be their makeup model so that gave me enough time to run to the store and grab a few things. This girl got me gone and I can't even tell you why. I got my hair shaped up as well as a line up for the facial hair. Waves spinning and all. I looked damned good and I hope Mani thinks so too.
I remember when I first laid eyes on this girl, she had my heart in a chokehold and that's when I became a firm believer in love at first sight. Yeah, I'm a little older than her and she still learning but I know what I want and she's it. Fuck what anyone else thinks about it. What happen between her and my boy O'shea was wrong but for some reason I knew it wasn't gonna work. I aint hating, I'm just speaking facts.
I walked to the balcony doors and opened it, allowing the evening wind to circulate through my crib as I walked over to my speaker to play some R&B. I made a little playlist with New Edition, Jodeci, Jon B and a few more songs to keep the mood afloat. A little upbeat music and some neo soul and throwback 90's jams to make sure everything stayed in tune. On top of that, I bought two gallons of milk and some pink, red and white rose petals with some smell good candles. I decided to run E'mani a milk bath that soaked underneath the rose petals with some candles around should definitely show my appreciation and how serious I am about her. going to the kitchen, I heated up the two gallons of milk over the stove to and ran the hot bathwater, then pouring the milk inside of the tub and spread the roses across the top of it. Lastly, I placed a bottle of Moet over the bucket of ice on top of the counter as I flicked the bathroom light off and watched as the candle fire shadows flickered and danced across the wall and water.
