note; while i was initially writing this, i was going through some rough times. i made a lot of a/ns that shared my feelings, and it was one of the worst times of my life. deleting them feels nice, like i'm restarting.

"V, just in case if you are poorly informed, on this mission we will be trying to communicate peacefully with Baekhyun's gang. They are very dangerous people, and Jeon almost made you stay behind, but Jin talked him out of it, saying you needed true experience." RM explained, giving a small smile to Jin, who was handling the steering wheel and driving to the destination.

"Jeon never worried about us this much!" Hope complained, almost seeming hurt that he didn't get as much attention as Taehyung did.

"Hope, its okay, and V. Theres about a 99% chance Baekhyun is planning an attack. Be alert. Your role is to give us an outlook of the area before the deal starts. Jeon again, protested. You have to do the check with him or else you can't. Sorry, his rules." RM told Taehyung, before turning his head to the window to stare at the landscape flying past.

"Wheres Jimin and Suga?"
Taehyung asked out of the blue. He was actually quite curious, as to where the other familiar faces were.

"They rode in Jeon's car, to go over how they could hack the computer systems and look through the security cameras if needed. Jeon wants to go a specific route, so V, keep up when going with him." Jin instructed, not harshly, but not softly either.

Taehyung stepped from the car, his eyes immediately drifted to jeongguk, who stood, hovering over the swarm of people. He then noticed they had parked a few streets from the actual meet up place, the drivers still ready to swing by the location in case of an attack.

"V and I will do a scan, and report back, until then, get ready." Jeongguk motioned Taehyung to follow, and unfortunately, he had to follow commands.

"I could have done this by myself, you know." Taehyung mumbles as the two jogged into the meeting location, sneaking behind the building and opening a loose window after smashing a few nails to make them fall from their restraints.

"You would get killed without my help."

"I would not get killed!"

"You don't know that."

Taehyung crossed his arms as Jeongguk sealed the window back, searching around the room and taking note of any guns or anything that seemed out of place.

"Do you not believe in me?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows, a sorrowing look on his face.

Jeongguk sighed and placed a hand on Taehyung's cheek.

"Of course I do, I just can't have you injured. No questions." Jeongguk gave a small smile before pecking his lips and acting like nothing happened between them.

The door handle started to jiggle, causing both of the boys to flinch backward. Jeongguk thought quickly, grabbing Taehyung and jumping into what seemed to be a closet of some sort, putting a hand on his gun as he kept one on the handle, holding it closed.

"Gguk-"

"Shut up."

"Be quiet! I think I heard them!"
