Taehyung took off in a sprint, chasing after the hooded target that ran when he saw the couple nearing him. Jungkook was definitely terrified for Taehyung as the boy caught up to the target.

The two turned the corner, and Taehyung did the most graceful leap off a curb onto the target. The target squirmed around in Taehyung's grasp, but Taehyung held the boy down as Jungkook jogged to catch up. A mask hid the mystery target's identity from the pair. Jungkook quickly kneeled down by Taehyung and held the person down too, letting Taehyung let go and reveal the face of this person.

He unhooked the mask and slowly lifted it from the person's face. It was a girl. One that looked quite familiar to Taehyung and Jungkook, both.

"Faith?" Jungkook asked, as Faith groaned out, squirming in Jungkook's grip again, trying to break free and run, without having to answer questions.

"I almost got o-out." Faith panted sloppily, her eyes closing as her left arm hurt, incredibly noticeable. She clenched her teeth as sweat stained her forehead.

"You aren't the target, right?" Jungkook mumbled, looking down the alley-way to see another shadow disappear behind another alleyway.

"Go." Jungkook told the older boy, so surely, Taehyung ran after the shadow, hopping onto a closed dumpster and over a barb-wired fence. It cut his ankles and fingers as he balanced himself, but did not let him fall behind. Taehyung ran after the target, his shadow now disappearing.

"Explain." Jungkook snapped at Faith, his eyes growing in anger. "I thought we could trust you!"

"I can't t-tell. I'll be killed!" Faith pleaded, tears now falling down her perky cheeks, blush covering them from being yelled at. She looked up with sad eyes.

"Tell me, or else I'll have to pry the answers out of you, clear?" Jungkook asked.

Silence.

Faith shook her head, no. This set Jungkook off. He quickly stood, and when Faith tried to sit up, he slammed his foot on her chest and sent her back onto the pavement. She grunted as it knocked the air out of her lungs. She coughed and looked up through her watery, salty teared eyes and tried to beg through looks to spare her.

"I don't want to have to do this the hard way, Faith." It hurt Faith for Jungkook not to call her Fae. It stung. He always called her that, but she guessed she was over reacting. They were over and he clearly loved someone else and wouldn't care to kill her. Maybe, just maybe there was feelings for her still there, but they were buried under all the new, real feelings for Taehyung.

"Y-you wouldn't k-kill me.." Faith was not sure of her statement. She looked as if what she asked was a prayer. She cried harder as Jungkook did not give her an answer.

"I just want an explanation to why my boyfriend has to risk his life after the real target, after you wasted my time." Jungkook growled lowly, slamming her back back down on the cement. Faith let out another sob.

"H-he'll kill me."

"I'll kill you if you don't tell me, god damnit!" Jungkook sighed, pressing harder into her stomach. Faith cried louder at this, Jungkook hushed her.

"Either die now or later." Jungkook sighed, putting a hand on his forehead.

"H-he paid me.."

"For what?"

"He paid m-me in e-exchange.."

Jungkook pressed his foot harder into her stomach.

"Spit it out!"

"V."

Jungkook widened his eyes.

"W-what?"

"He paid me in exchange f-for V."
