Jungkook ran down the hallway, his eyes locked on the tv screen. He fell onto the carpet, his eyes closing tightly as his hands travelled up to the staticky screen, that seemed to flash before his eyes. He shook the television until it showed the news station.

"Murderer by the name of V was turned in by his family yesterday, this may lead to a large discovery of what truly lies behind mafia's doors."

The news anchor panned down to a cell, where Taehyung had his hands covering his face. His body looked terrible. How had he gotten this bad ever since Jungkook left? It was because of him, first of all, because they were apart, Jungkook was feeling it too.

His parents did not turn him in at first, they were just happy their son had returned, and apparently Taehyung had become so pressured by his parents to spill what had happened that he told them nearly everything, except names. Even killing people.

His parents wanted to send him to therapy, but his father said it would be best to lock him behind bars then to keep him out in public when he had single handedly killed people like that. It angered Jungkook that he didn't think of anything like this to happen.

"Any words, V?"

Jungkook snapped his weary eyes up to the bright screen, almost flinching at the pain growing from such a quick change in light.

"Anything? To your gang friends or the families of the people you killed?"

Taehyung shifted uncomfortably, raising his head, bruises. Bruises littering his lips, his cheeks, his beautiful face looked so, different. He still looked so ethereal to Jungkook. Even if he was bruised and battered.

"I love you."

Jungkook snapped his head up again, to the boy who just said that. Taehyung stared back at him with such pain, such a hopeless look in his eyes, that stared straight back at him.

The anchor chuckled nervously.

"V has gone insane from all the blood he's seen-"

Another anchor cut him off.

"Some say its because he was dating the most wanted mafia leader of them all, and that his second half being torn from him is the reason."

They both shrugged.

"We'll never-"

Jungkook punched the screen, it went black, sparking with static spiraling on the screen. It was more comforting then seeing his Taehyung on the screen, so vulnerable like that.

Earlier

Smack.

Taehyung retracted slightly, his cheek stinging at the painful feeling on his skin. His mother just slapped him, for a reason? Sure. He straight up told them, "i killed someone." You might call him stupid for it, hell, he thought he was too when he earned a reaction like that. Weren't parents supposed to love you no matter what?

"How? How could you kill someone? Who did this to you, son?! Who kidnapped you and changed you?"

Taehyung grinned, a bit amused. She thought he would tell about Jungkook so easily. He wouldn't even say his name, where he went, nothing. It aggravated his mother, as to why she couldn't know where her son went, and why he lost the ability to use his arm.

"Tell me son, or I'm calling the cops."

Taehyung had to bite his lip to keep from trails of laughter leaving him.

"You? You will call the cops on your own son? I liked it better when I was gone then here, there I never was beaten, or mishandled, not by him anyways."

His mother lunged for the phone, and Taehyung let it happen. At least
Jungkook would hear about it and come to save him, right?
