Jeongguk felt his heart sink when he heard Hope's voice across the phone. Were they okay, most importantly, was he okay? How could they put him in danger when they had not even made it to the mission yet?

"Are you serious?" He growled out, his hand gripping the phone harder, his fingers digging into the sides.

"I trust you with one mission, one mission Hope." Jeongguk retorted.

'We are so incredibly sorry, Jeon. We really screwed up'

"Hows V? He okay?" Jeongguk dropped the angered act, just making sure that they were okay. Sure, he was mad, but that did not stop the fact that he cared so much.

'V's fine. His muscles are fired, a few cuts, nothing untreatable.'

"You better be glad nothing too bad happened to him, or you'd be in hell until you actually went there. Now get here before I go insane." Jeongguk whispered the last part into the phone, sounding a lot calmer from just a few minutes ago. Calmer since he knew V was okay.

'Jin got in trouble with a cop.'

"We can bail him, I'll send someone down there to get you guys, and have a talk with someone."

Jeongguk hung up.

(In the car)

"I'm so screwed. Jeon's going to be so mad." Taehyung put a hand on his forehead as he leaned on the window. His mind was creating a concoction of bad future scenarios.
