Sage's pov.
"What have I done!" i panicked, this wasn't right. she's human, Yes I know we are mates but still, we still needed to wait.
"I thought you would be happy?" Crystal muttered as she puts her shirt back on.
"I am... but I didn't want it to happen like this, I wanted to make our first time special" i was being honest, call me a weird romantic asshole but it's fine, I believe in making things special.
She seems in thought for a moment, and just when she wanted to say something, the voice of my mother could be heard. Calling for us.
"Pull your hair over the mark, it can't be seen right now" she did what I asked, flowing her hair down the side of her neck. I am proud to say she's mine.. But this wasn't the way I've imagined to be mated, not like this.
Crystal and I, wondered down the stairs, I slowly stepping behind her. My mother and her mother comes into view, waiting for us.
My father comes walking from around the corner, his nostrils flaring, I can feel my heart rate picking up. He can smell it, he smells our arousal we just had.
I silently beg him with my eyes not so say anything, like if he was understanding me, he gives me a short nod. I breath a sigh of relief.
"Honey, it's time to go" Crystals mother speaks, my head snaps toward them. She's leaving me alone?.
"Will Sage, be coming with us?" My precious mate asks, she grabs my hand in hers, giving it a light squeeze.
Her mother spares a glance at me before her eyes landing on her daughter again "No, he belongs here" those words, almost tore my heart out.
"Are you seriously going to keep us apart?" Crystal snapped from beside me. my mother and father only stands there silently, observing the whole situation unfold.
"No, even if I wanted to, I know Sage, will come running after you" she muttered in defeat. I'm glad she noticed that I won't let Crystal go. I've waited so long for someone like her and I won't let anyone take her away from me.
I've notice, since I marked her, I've become more obsessed with her, I crave her touch even more now.
"I want to stay, or he comes with" Crystal tries to bargen.
"You know that won't happen. he'll find someone else" ... wait.. what!? confusion and anger took over my features.
"Are you suggesting that I reject her?" I snapped, her mother flinched away at my reaction.
"Honestly... yes, I've given you a chance yes, but not with my daughter" she muttered curiously.
"Its too late.." Crystal deadpanned, we all turned our attention to her. I know what she's going to do, she's going to expose the mark.
She pushes away the hair in her neck, showing my mark, still very raw "The mating is completed"
"oh my God! what have you done!" it was like living everything over, she storms at me, her fist meeting my left cheek. The sting wasn't that bad but the guilt was.
I took their daughter's innocents away from her, She was still a virgin and I took it.
I stayed quiet, letting the pain seep through my heart "to think.... I could have trusted you" and with those last words. They all disappeared out of the door. Only leaving my mother, father, Patunia and Crystal behind. We all stood in silence, you could even hear a pin drop.
"It was my choice, not yours. don't let my mother get into your head" Crystal holded me against her, her warmth covering my body.
"That's just it, she didn't, I don't regret marking you.... I regret it of doing it too soon" she sigh, but didn't say anything.
