As we reach the park I still didn't say anything to Jace but we kept walking in sync when we got to a more private spot of the park I let Spike off of his leash and run free I wasn't worried about Jim running away because he was trained already I picked up a stick and through it away from us and he went to fetch it we did that for a couple of turns in silent as Jace watched and observed us, after awhile he spoke again " can we talk now" I still didn't say anything back so he just kept talking " Ok fine just listen please" I sigh and finally looked him in the face he took that is an ok and start to talk " you know I'm sorry about what I did the last time I was here I didn't mean to lead you on and then leave and never call you back right? I never lied to you I have always been in love with you since I could remember and that night when we were drunk on the roof and I told you that I was in love with someone and that that someone was you then kissed you and leave the next day, it wasn't because I was leading you on I kissed you because I've been wanting to do that like for ever now but I was too scared of what would happen between us I was scared that if we started dating break up I'd not only lose the one person I love but I would lose my best friend your brother and my sister, you know I tried so hard to forget that kiss I drank my problems away but it didn't last long but I did it because I couldn't face the fact that I hurt you. that's why I left the next day and trust me if I could go back and change everything I would do it in a heart beat." By the time he was finished I had tears in my eyes from what he just said. After our 'talk' Spike came running back with a l leaf from a tree somewhere probably because he lost his stick I laugh at him running to us while Jace was also smiling to himself. but that smile soon turned into a frown because the words that he spoke next were a shock to me. " I will win your trust back by then end of the summer and soon you will finally be mine baby " he said more to himself then to me.
When we got home from the park went straight to the kitchen to get some water for Spike cause he looked thirsty from all the running but I soon found a note on the kitchen counter saying that my parents and brother were out of town to do some family business that I wasn't apart of because I was too young and they would be gone for awhile and that money would be on the counter for dinner. as I was reading the note so I didn't realised that Jace was behind me and we reading the note as well rolling my eyes at him I said "you can leave now, you know that right?" "I could do that but do you really think that I'm gonna let you stay here by yourself?" "yes" I replied back to him, and with an eye roll of his own he replied with "that was a rhetorical question" we soon had a starring contest to see who would win but unfortunately I lost to that.
"Ok fine but you're ordering pizza for the both of us and you're paying" he nodded I agreement and took out his phone to order the pizza while I when to feed Spike. Not long after the pizza came and we were sitting on the couch eating and watching tv when all of a sudden my pizza was taken out of my hands and I was pulled on Jace's lap, it was an uncomfortable position so I moved to straddle him instead to be comfier and now my face was inches away from him I could feel his breath on my skin and I secretly loved it! then as soon our faces moved closer and closer to each other together and we were about to kiss.

Spike jumped on us just in time to stop us and in that moment, I don't know if I was glad that he stoped the kiss or be disappointed that Spike did. not long after Jace soon got off of me and apologized for his behaviour I just nod still not saying much to because things were already awkward between us I just was about to get comfy in my new spot but that soon changed because the next thing I know I was lifted off of the couch and on to his lap again (picture above) while he circled his arm around my waist "can you please talk to me now I'm begging you please baby" he said sounding desperate and pleading "what do you want me to say" I replied to his begging and with that sentence the hope in his eyes could be seen from the dark "nothing I just wanted to hear your voice, look I know you're still up set with me on what I did and I don't blame you I would probably do the same thing but just give me a chance please baby."
There he goes again calling me baby, I just stayed still not moving as he moves his face closer and then nuzzling his face in the crook of my neck.
