Emily's POV
And as he leans forward, his lips were about to touch mine and we were about to kiss for the first time I started to get butterflies in my stomach. his lips almost touched mine, then my phone rang and he pulled away so that I could answer it. I looked at the caller ID and it was my mum she was probably checking up on me since they have been gone for almost 2 days "hi mum, how are you" I'm fine mum I said in a monotone that's great honey she said not even realising at I wasn't ok so I just called in to check up on you and to tell you 2 things ok first we will send $300 a week into your bank account for you to spend and the second thing is that Jace will be staying in the guess room to look after you while were gone and with at she hug up.
As I got off the kitchen counter Jace picked me up as walked me to the shower without saying a word because I was upset with my family didn't include on whatever they were doing with Sam. it wasn't fair that they always took him and not me but I soon got over it when he splashed me with water distracting me from my problems, for a while at least and I was grateful that he was here for that. as we kept splashing water at each other evenly we were both soaked in water and then I noticed that he was still shirtless and his body was wet from the water and he looked like a Greek god in front of me and I couldn't believe what I was seeing he soon interrupted me staring at him by being cocky "You know as much as I love you staring at me like a piece of meat, I think you should take a shower ill talked the one in the downstairs bathroom" with a wink he walked out so I could have a shower and get changed. "tease" I yelled out when he was about to shut the door he turned back and winked then shut the door while I got in the shower and got ready for the day.
It was noon when I was done as I walked down stairs I hear little paws running towards me and that instantly brought a smile to my face because I knew it was Spike running up to me. And I was right bit this time he was cleaned and he had a red scarf around his neck he looked so cutie! "How's my baby doing today" I asked him in a baby voice witch he replied by licking my face as he was doing so I didn't realise that Jace was behind us "I'm doing great today" Jace spoke behind me making me jump a little " Jesus Jace you scared me, and I wasn't talking to you I was talking to my baby over here" I said pointing to Spike who was still in my arms. and with that I walked away.
