I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK

~ Lucy's POV ~

it was awkward.

I mean, awkward.

EXTREMELY, awkward.

for the rest of the sleepover night. I would occasionally glance at Natsu every now and then & he would eventually catch me looking at him which caused awkward eye-contact between us both. I would immediately look away as I couldn't handle the weird staring contests whilst we were playing 'fun' games and ate lots of food everyone would dream of, if you could imagine. At least I was relieved no one else could notice how quiet and the tension was between Natsu & I y-

"Hey Luce, you and flame brain are bein' really quiet. And it's not usually like you two."

yet..

Way to state the obvious, Gray..

I mentally face palmed.

"Yeah.. You guys have been awfully quiet." Erza stated.

"Yeah.." Everyone else joined in.

"Care to explain?" Erza added whilst looking at me with one eyebrow risen up but I'm sure she can look at him as she probably has eyes at the back of her head.

literally.

"Well...I u-uhm.." I hesitated to answer which brought everyone to skip to conclusions.

"Did you guys break up?"

"NO! NALU cannot sink! Not under my watch!!"

"DID NATSU CHEAT ON YOU WITH LISANNA? OH IMMA BEAT YO AS-"

I facepalmed literally and tried to calm everyone down. Didn't work as Erza was still going to beat Natsu's @$$ but before I could even warn anyone.

Natsu had declared,

"Look, Lucy & I just had a long make out session, and we just feel a bit embarrassed about it. Okay? Probably, our first longest one.." Natsu muttered the end part but he made this up as a lie obviously.

I looked at him and widened my eyes at him whilst he cringed, quite-squinted one eye, guilty smile amongst his face with a tint of blush on his cheeks and shrugged at his own remark.

"IS THAT TRUE LUCY! OH MY MAVIS! I HAVE TO TELL LISANNA, THEN UNCLE GUILDARTS, THEN AUNTIE CANA, THEN-" Mira kept naming random girls in the guild who half of the ones heck knows.

"Well.."

Everyone looked at my eager for my answer. I then looked at Natsu who folded his arms and was looking around the room, really not interested in the situation but eventually laid his dark, exotic eyes on me.

I could actually melt from the looks he gives me... Even if it was cold or in general..

"Earth to Lucy?"

My thoughts about Natsu were suddenly drained as Levy flicked me on the head.

"Oh.. uhm. Yeah! Yes. We had a long uhm.. making out sess-sion?"  I continued.

Unfortunately, everyone soon made lots of noise which was bound to wake my parents up. Or that dad must be snoring his head off.

"Well huh, never thought I'll be sayin' this any time soon, but Natsu is getting some today!" Gajeel patted Natsu's back.

"Uh.. thanks I guess.." Natsu fake smiled back.

"Aww that's so cute Lucy! I better update this to the ship pin board.." Mira squealed which caused Levy to scream, then Erza too.

Juvia ended up rambling about 'Grayy~Samaa!!'

I wealky giggled as I tried to cover up my awkwardness in this situation. Luckily, Mira changed the subject as it was 12am already.

"Let's get some sleep, it's already 12! We have a lot of fun to do tomorrow." Mira decided whilst everyone cheered, getting into their pairs except for Natsu & I.

"Let's go upstairs.." Natsu said with no emotion in his tone also no eye-contact. Just straight up the stairs, I guess..

I just followed him up obeyingly trying to not make it as noticeable that we're gone.

*** 12:34am

~ Gray's POV ~

I was snuggling up with Juvia on a nice king-sized bed as a thought popped in my head.

"Hey..uh Juvia? You awake?"

"I'm awake now.." She responded huskily as she rubbed her eyes to see me in the dark. I chuckled at her boyish behaviour.

"S-Stop laughing.."

"Sorry, Juv's. You're just too cute."

"J-Juv's?" She squinted her eyes to see me in the dark even more to create a confused expression on her face.

" its'a nickname." I chuckled out.

"Gray you're scaring Juvia." She smiled awkwardly. I just hugged her.

"You're a weirdo." She added smugly.

"Says the one who talks in 3rd person the mojarity of times.."

"That's my choice."

"Then, I'm not weird."

"Gray." She said in a firm, playful tone. Kinda scary when she does that.

"Sorry Juvia," I sniggered as she rolled her eyes. "Am I ticking you off?"

"I wouldn't call it ticking, you're pissing me off. Tell me why you woke me up."

"Ouch, sorry. Well do you know before when.. Natsu said he was making out with Lucy?"
I sat up and looked up at the ceiling before looking into her light ocean eyes anyone could get lost in.

"Mhm!! I found it so cute! We need to do that one day Gray and tell everyone!" Juvia immediately sat up and hugged my left arm with all her might, whilst blushing.

"I think everyone would be grossed out but anyways I'll go with it," I shrugged but hugged Juvia back.

"But I don't think they were... making out. Infact, I don't think they were doing that at all."
I added concernedly.

"W-Well.. what'd you mean?" She responded worry filling her eyes.

"Well.. Lucy looked upset but it looked like she tried to hide it with a fake smile and for Natsu... Natsu looked as if he was almost...

annoyed?"

"Natsu? annoyed? Salamander? N-A-T-S-U D-R-A-G-N-E-E-L A-N-N-O-Y-E-D?" Juvia squinted her eyes @ me as I don't think she agrees with my remark.

"Yes.. Juvia. Or not as annoyed. Maybe even..

distraught?"

"Distraught, Gray? Well I mean yeah he could feel about that but I couldn't imagine Natsu depressed. I've always known him to be a hyped up person no matter what."

"Yeah but he could just hide it y'know. Before I met you, obviously Natsu & I were best friends and we still are. But he'll only open up to people he's close with example me."

"Is there anyone else he's told?"

"His family, Mira & I. That's all.."

"So what's the point you're tryna get across to me Gray?"

"Natsu is about to tell Lucy something he's not supposed to tell anyone at all.."
