Mystery Boy Part 3

Chapter 5

I wake up in Jughead's room next him. I slowly get out of bed and head into the kitchen to get some water.
I grab a glass from the sink and pour some water into my cup. I slowly drink the water and look out at the living room.
I see two bodies sleeping on the couch. What the hell, I think to myself. I take a step closer it's Jasper and some guy on the couch.
I put my cup in the sink and head back to the room.
"Ganessa" I hear someone say before stepping into the room. I turn around and its Jasper.
"Yeah " I respond quietly not trying to wake anyone up.
"I know that you think the serpents will hurt Jughead but they won't FP won't let him , I can tell your worried about him , I get it , but I can protect him while he's out with us I won't let anything happen to him I promise, he told me he doesn't want you apart of this , but doesn't want you to get hurt in the process of him helping the serpents as well, I know we never really got along in high school , but we are adults now, I hope we can let the past go and just move on and help Jughead be safe and let him help us" she says.
I stand there trying to process everything she has said.
"I know , and I appreciate everything , that means alot but I will be apart of this with him , we are married now and whatever he does I do. We are all in this together , I will help in anyway I can " I say.
She lightly smiles at me before heading back to the couch. 

That morning , I wake up and roll over to my side. No Jughead. I sigh and get up. I walk into the kitchen and see that gut Jasper and Jughead all talking. I slightly smile at Jasper and she does the same.
They all stop talking once I step in the room.
"Morning"Jasper says. "Morning"I respond back.
Jughead heads over to me and gives me a big hug. "Morning baby" he says in my neck. I don't respond,I  just rub his back and hug him even harder.
I let go and head to the kitchen to get some food. "I went grocery shopping last night , you can have some waffles" Jughead says.
I nod and grab some waffles and put them in the toaster.

"I'm gonna be heading out again , but I promise you I'll be back as soon as I can okay" Jughead says walking over to me.
"Can I come with ?" I ask. He lightly chuckles and shakes his head.
"Baby I know you wanna keep me safe but I have Jasper and peawee, they can keep me safe okay " he says. I don't respond. I look at the floor just thinking to myself the worst possible things that could happen.
"Baby?" Jug says making me look at him.
"Is that okay ?" He asked. No its not okay , I wanted to say but what can I do. These people are his family helped him at his worse what am I supposed to say no turn your back on family, no .
"Yeah that's fine " I say quietly just for him to hear. He smiles and kisses my forehead.
"I'll be back, okay , I love you " he says before closing the door.

It the afternoon and I decided to go for a little walk.
I walk around my old neighborhood , I see my old house Betty's old house, Archie's old house . Wow so many memories.
"Ganessa?" I hear someone say. I turn around and its Archie and Reggie. Finally people I know. I smile and walk up to them.
"Wow you look great what brings you back " Reggie says hugging me.
"Um Jughead , serpents, you know that stuff " I say. Archie puts his arm around me. " Well you can hang with us, you seem lonely " Archie says and laughs . I shove him. "Well I have been alone for like 2 days we got here yesterday and all Jug has been doing us leaving coming back leaving all that stuff he just left this morning, and I'm worried " I say.
We all walk to  Archie's backyard. He is having a BBQ . I see a couple people from high school.
"GANESSA" I hear someone say. I turn around and see Betty. I run up to her and hug her. "Betty oh my god what are you doing here" I ask excited. "Girl I could not miss out on Archie's famous BBQ , jut kidding I came to see my sister and her littles" she says. I smile and hug her. I see veronica and she comes up to us. "How are my girls?"she asked. Betty and I hug her.
"I'm good , just came back with Jughead for some stuff with his dad" I say. Veronica looks at me and smiles. "Yeah... well I have to go my dad needs me " she says and leaves. We both know that was awkward for us since my husband is trying to stop a deal with her dad and the serpents.

Betty and I catch up. My phone starts ranging it's Jughead. "Sorry Betty hold on" I say and answer the call.
"Hey ba-" I say before I was cut off my Jughead sounding worried as ever.
"Where are you !!" He asked.
" I'm at Archie's , why what happened are you okay " I ask worried . "Just come home now " he says before hanging up.
