Mystery Boy Part 3

Chapter 7

I hear Jughead call after me , but I ignore him. I hear his footsteps come after me and he catches up to me.
"What " I say and look at him crossing my arms.
"I'm doing this to protect you baby , don't you see all this stuff with Veronica's dad, you don't know what he's capable of baby , Veronica is not someone you can trust , she outed you when she saw you at that party" he says place both his hands on my face.
I grab his hands and remove them from my face. "I'm capable of taking care of myself , I've done a fine job before I met you " I said. Wow , that came out harsh. Before I could say anything Jughead nods his head. "You know what you are totally right Ganessa , go ahead take care of yourself " Jughead says before walking back to the trailer. I run after him.
I go to the room and he's sitting on the edge of the bed.
"I'm doing this to protect you Ganessa, I love you too much to let something bad happen to you , you are my wife now you are my best friend my forever if I lost you because of this deal I have no idea what I'd do. That's why I'm so protective , I've lost too many people in my life you can't be next " he says walking up to me. "Look Jug I'm sorry , I didn't mean ti say that I know you want to make sure I'm alright, if me staying here makes you happy I'll do it okay " I say
"You just promise me please that you will be careful out there " I add grabbing his face. He nods and hugs me.

Jughead and I are watching TV when someone knocks on the door. He gets up and opens the door.
"Let's go Jones we have something to do " Johnson says walking in.
"Hello Mrs.Jones, mind if I steal your husband for a bit " I lightly smile.
"No not at all , be careful please " I tell Jughead and kiss his lips before getting in a blanket and watching tv.
They both leave and I'm left alone again.

Later that night I'm taking a shower. I get out and wrap my towel around me. I go in the room and change into sweats and a t-shirt.  I lay in bed when someone bust through the door.
I quickly run in the living room and see Jughead being carried in all bruised and beat up.  "What happened " I asked as they lay him on the couch . Jasper goes in the kitchen and grabs some ice packs and gives it to Jughead. "We went to go talk to Hirom and he wasn't there and we said we wouldn't leave and he had a few people waiting for us and started to beat up Jughead and a few others"Jasper said. I go to Jughead and grab his hand. "Baby "I say cleaning his cuts. The guys leave and Jasper goes with them. 
"Oh baby, who could ever do this to you all your doing is trying to make everyone happy" I say
I grab a blanket it and put it on him. I kiss his head as he sleeps.

I head out and go to Veronica's apartment.
I walk in and go up the elevator to her room.
I knock on the door. Veronica's Dad opens the door.
"What the hell is wrong with you " I say screaming . "Wowow calm down Ganessa " he says. I slap him. I shouldn't have done that. His face tenses up. "Look if your talking about Jughead , I didn't mean for him to get hurt" he says. "No you hurt him you hurt my husband all he wanted was to help and you keep hurting him and his people leave him alone please or else" I say. He laughs at me. "Or else what are you gonna hurt me " he says. I shake my head and walk away.
