Mystery Boy Part 3

Chapter 10

Johnson and I head to the Lodges complex. We are about to walk in when two men ask Johnson to stay behind and have just me walk in.  I look over at Johnson giving him an it's gonna be fine look.  

I walk into the building with two men leading me to Hirom.  I look down at my hands the entire time.  When we make it to the door. I walk in and Hirom is sitting in his chair on his laptop. Once he sees me, he smiles and closes it shut.  

"Wow nice to see you Mrs.Jones, come sit", he says gesturing to the chair in front of him. I take a seat and breath in and out slowly.  

"I would like to make a deal", he says, I nod. "My deal is that you make sure the serpents don't do any drug deals on my so-called property on South Side high and in exchange I will give them their property back, but south side high becomes one of my complex buildings and will allow the serpents to work there if they please", he says. I sit and think about what he just said. It seems like Hirom gets what he wants both ways.

"That wasn't the plan, the plan was you give the serpents their land back and you don't make your property and gain  more money, you go somewhere else to make your fancy complex and what you would gain is respect from these people because you don't know what they are capable of", I say crossing my arms. He begins to laugh. 

"Mrs.Jones, I believe that you are on the wrong side here, what's your husband's name again, Jughead, I see that he is very fond of his family, I wouldn't want to see the thing he loves the most just disappear, he loves you dearly and would do anything for you", he says. 

"Yes he would, but Hirom listen here", I say getting up from the chair."The deal that I offered, can go both ways, you could take my deal or you could find yourself in some serious serpent trouble", I add. "And please choose wisely", I say before heading to the door. "Mrs.Jones, Jughead is sitting with the serpents right now is he not, how about I show you on this screen," he says opening his laptop and putting it in my direction. I turn around and see video footage of Jughead sitting with Peewee and Jasper. That's where they are at this moment. "What are you going to do ", I asked worriedly. "You'll find out soon enough, or you could accept my offer", he says. I shake my head. Hirom chuckles, "I could also hurt the person Jughead looks up to", Hirom says before switching the screen to FP, sitting in his cell. The video is then starting with FP getting jumped by a group of men in his cell. FP is left in blood. I shake my head tears forming in my eyes. Jug is gonna be so upset. "How could you ", I say. "Sweetie all you have to do is accept the deal I made and this will all be over", he says. I shake my head. "Never", I say. 

"Suit yourself," he says before the screen switches back to the live footage of Jughead and these men come in shooting up the place. I see Jughead crouching down keeping himself safe. I quickly run out the door. Johnson sees me. "What happened", he asked. I shake my head. "He hurt FP, and the serpents are getting shot up we have to go", I said. Johnson and I head to the car and straight to Jughead and the serpents.
