Cassie couldn't believe it, her father was actually gone. She thought she would be happy, she wouldn't be abused anymore. Cassie was staying strong, until the day of the funeral. She had this pit of grief in her stomach, as they lowered Kyle's body into the ground, She felt very depressed like she hated herself. Cassie couldn't breathe, She blamed herself for Kyle death. Cassie went home and was going to do something she hadn't done in forever. She pulled the blade out of her dresser, but her voices over came her. She couldn't think straight the voices screamed at her telling it was all her fault for her father shooting himself and for Brady getting hit by a car and his death they told her it should have been her not them but her.
Cassie couldn't handle it, she didn't want to hear them anymore. They told her if you die we will go away. Cassie called Michael and told him how much she loved him and how she just couldn't do this anymore. Stay strong as this is, and before he could say anything she hung up. She texted Katerina and Payton and told them her last request is for them to get along and to never forget her and that she loves them very much. No one was home but her.
Cassie sat her phone on the bathroom counter and filled the bathtub with water. She locked the door and changed into a tank top and shorts. She climbed into the tub and as she slit her wrist Michael bagged on the door trying to get to her. He started to talk to her and said and ambulance and Katerina and Payton were on there way. He begged for her to open the door, She wouldn't so he broke the door knob and rushed to Cassie.
The tub was filling with blood and Cassie was unconscious. Michael picked her up and rushed down the stairs with her, as he was coming out of the house the ambulance had gotten there. He explained what happened and that he was the one who called. He said that Cassie called him before she tried to commit. They were trying to stop the bleeding, Michael texted Payton and Katerina telling them what was going on and to get hold of Alice and Jamie.
Payton called Alice while Katerina called Jamie, Jamie and Alice were on there way to the hospital. No one was allowed to be in the surgery room with Cassie. Jamie, Michael, Alice, Katerina, Payton, and Phoenix were in the waiting room. The doctor had came out and asked for Cassie's guardian, Alice stood up. The doctor said Cassie had lost about 10 pints of blood and nearly almost died, but they saved her before she could past, the doctor told Alice that they wanted to keep her for about a week. The doctor also said that she could have visitors, If it were to be a friend to visit they would have to have one of Cassie's intermediate family members with them.
