Part 22

(Sohye's POV)

"Have you heard about Hana?" Some girls behind me gossip.

"Yeah, I heard that she was arrested by the police for kidnapping and possession of weapons." One says.

"Omo! I knew she was spoiled and bad but I didn't know it was that bad."

"I know right. By the way, I heard Hoseok oppa talking to Jimin oppa. Apparently Hana kidnapped Sohye because she was jealous."

"Wow that's so scary." The other one gasps.

"Yeah, not only that, Taehyung oppa came to save Sohye but Hana locked him up too. Then she even stabbed Sohye with a knife." The girl continues.

"That explains why Hana has been absent."

"Should we ask if Sohye is okay?" One girl asks and I jolt forward, not wanting them to know I was eavesdropping them.

I hear them coming closer to me and pretend to read my book.

"Hey Sohye.." The two girls appear in front of me.

"Hey" I say.

"I heard that you were stabbed." One girl says.

"Oh yeah. Things sure spread fast."

"Are you okay?" They ask.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking." I smile politely.

"Hana went too far, did she?"

I awkwardly smile as a response.

These two were always follow Hana around and listen to her. Now they just turned their backs against her like that.

Why are people so fake?

"Can you tell us what happened?" They ask expectantly.

"Sorry, I don't wanna talk about it." They are clearly disappointed by my reply but smile nonetheless.

"It's okay." They say and walk away.

I sigh and take a deep breathe. I can never live in peace.

Lina and I are eating our lunch inside the cafeteria. We hear gossips from every corner and feel people's stares on us.

The awkward silent was broken by Hoseok's cheerful voice.

"Hello!! You shouldn't talk while eating." He comments.

As if on cue, the whole cafeteria quiet down and everyone looks at nothing besides their food.

Taehyung takes a seat beside me and smiles. "How are you?"

"Im great, kinda tired from people asking me about what happened." Taehyung nods knowingly.

"Tch, nosy kids."

"Hana will stay in jail for three years and will have to do community services during those years." Namjoon oppa says.

"Three years is pretty long." Jungkook states.

"She's underage, three years is short for her wrong deeds. The police found out that Hana made someone committed suicide because she severely bullied that person. She also has some attitude problem because she fought with people at the mall at least three times. " Namjoon oppa says. I never knew that and these news are really shocking.
