Hi, my name is Zemna and yes I'm a zombie. Today is a big change my twin brother and I get to go to real school. Like with humans. I'm so excited. It's crazy. "Hey Zemma, are you ready for school?" My twin Zed said. "So excited I can't wait to get on the otherside of the walls. You ready for school and.....football" he nodded quickly " I'm so excited" he said smiling 'quick story 50 years ago lime soda was a accident that led to the beginning 'the monsters' that's us. We are Zombies' now technology has a way of controlling us they're called Z Bands they keep up from eating humans with electromagnetic pulses and have beautiful yet humble kids. Cool right. We also have to wear government issued coveralls ..but we make them look pretty cool. And....we have a curfew.

"Give me and F-i-r-s-t, it's the first day if Freshman year for me me me" I cheered doing my cheer moves. Oh..hi I'm Addison and I've crushed cheer summer after cheer summer of cheer camp, but today's my shot at making the Seabrook Cheer Squad. You make cheer and you fit in. Why wouldn't I fit in I'm a total normal teen. Well except my hair it's white I was born with it. Doctors can't explain it. They think it's some rare genetic thing you can't dye it nothing sticks I've tried everything. In some places this hair might be odd in a cool way but Seabrook it's not at all. Everyone hates anything that is remotely different. If anyone found out outside of my family. Cheering never would happen at Seabrook. So I've worn a wig as long as I can remember.

We walked to the kitchen to see my little sister Zoey playing with her dog 'Zander' she really wants a dog but zombies aren't aloud to have pets some people still think we will eat them " Woof!!" My brother wooded as my sisters head snapped towards him " Who's a good boy?" My sister said ad zed dropped to his knees and went towards her with his tongue out panting "Ruff, Ruff, Ruff" Zed went again shaking his head. " Good boy" Zoey said patting his shoulder as he took a seat right after. I just laughed and took a seat. " I'm so ready" I said to myself " Just think no one likes zombies, Zemma" he said to me. "Yea but they haven't met me yet" I said looked at me. "Us...I meant us" we just laughed. "Here ya go kids canned brains made from cauliflower" Zed sat down so did I, we each got a portion. "Dad this tastes like sneakers" Zed said right before I was gonna put it in my mouth I quickly put it down. "It's good, right??" My dad said. Zed just shrugged and continued eating. I got up and grabbed an apple. "I'm gonna step outside" I murmured to my family. I went outside and sat at my porch steps. "How am I gonna make it through this?" I continued talking to myself. "I know I've gotta be strong but I can't it's just I liked to be liked and over there outside of this wall nobody is gonna like me. It's hard" I said to myself. "Just stay out of sight. You got this it's all just gonna be fine....but what if my own twin stops liking me. That couldn't happen...right??" I said while stopping and just thing about it. "Never I could never stop loving you." I turned around and saw Zed. "We're inseparable, no one can tear us apart." He said while hugging me. "Today's gonna be okay, right??" I asked him. "I promise" he said smiling at me as i returned it to him. " kids you need to get going don't wanna be late" my dad said to us. "Bye dad love you" we said.

I was eating my fruit bowl. "Cheer Tryouts Today" mom "Cheer Tryouts" Dad. "I am way fired up" I said. "Seabrook has won the cheer championships since forever" my mother said as I nodded. "But now the city counsel is having Zombies in our school...We need cheer more than ever..as Mayor I beseech you. You win that cheer championship" my mother yelled the last part. " Beseech, me?" I said. "Yea sorry. That was a bit much" she said and my father agreed. " nothing gonna stop you Addison as long as you keep that wig on" my parents said. As I adjusted my wig. "Honey..ready" we put your hands together and all said. "GO TEAM" and threw our hands up. I walked out the door. Waving to bikers.

We walked out the door "Hey Zemma, Hey Zed" "Hey" I said. "Sup" Zed waved. To multiple people same routine. Zed throwing the football to someone as well which I didn't know he had in his hand. Zed grabbed the hose and let the brown water drip into the practically dead sunflower. Of course Zed started rapping/singing as people danced. "Now let me introduce you to my sister walker" he said. "Now Come on Zed we got to go for all we know we just gotta let it go. We might do this everyday but we gotta go to play because when it comes down to it you gotta just move it. Now let me introduce you to my friend Eliza" I said as she walked out if her door. "We're never gonna be accepted zombies need to rise up. Fight the good fight. Stand for what's right. We get the worst job and a curfew at night. They make us wear these uniforms that all look the same. Why is just us being treated this way? I say we stick it to their institution. You want justice we need a revolution" she finished. " Yea you gotta point but today is an improvement, because baby steps is still an improvement. Hey Bonzo come and spin a verse" I sang. "He just dropped that in zombie" Eliza sang then Zed said, "Yea all he said is that he is hungry." We made our way to school dancing and running. We stopped and danced then kept going. Once we got to the school there was a gate sectioning off People from well us we all started dancing. "Watch it come together, be the best one ever because it's my time this is gonna be me my year been waiting for this moment, yea I'm gonna own it you can watch me shine. This is gonna be my year. My year. My year. My. My. My year" we all got on the fence looking at eachother then the bell rang signaling us to walk inside. I looked over to see a group of people looking at me and my brother and my brother was looking at a girl. A guy looked at Bonzo and basically made fun of him Bonzo latched onto the fence. The boy jumped back squealing as I laughed at him. A lady grabbed Bonzo. "Do we need to take a trip downtown?" She said to him I jumped in. "No officer, we're all good" Bonzo went forward as I stopped him. "No she does not want a hug" the officer opened the door "come on let's go" she said. "Come on guys we're in a real school, no more classy in a stinky basement." Zed said to Eliza Bonzo and I. We all walked in..."You were saying" I looked up an saw a Stinky Basement. I'm going out for lacrosse this year so I'm excited no one knows though. After we looked at the principle she was talking and trying not to touch anyone at all and I didn't even listen to her she turned around and I quickly got out the door with no one seeing.

"Um Principle Lee?" She looked taken back.." um yea" " could we trout for clubs or sports?" "Does it involve leaving the basement?" "Um yea.." "then no tryouts for you, and wasn't there another one of you?" She asked I looked around where is walker. "No no ma'am there isn't" I said. After she left I simply slipped out the door.

I was on my way to Lacrosse practice when after 5 minutes I heard an alarm going off I looking up to see a siren that reads. 'Z_Alert' I ran to a room that said 'Zombie Safe Room' I ran in after being chased by a group of guys. I looked around only to see.......
