Ch. 2

I turned to see a group of 4. 2 boys, 2 girls.
"Hi?" a girl said. "Hello?" I said back.
"you're safe in here. For now" she said. "Good to know" I said back. They walked closer so I stepped closer and they were on one side and I was in the other of the room. "Wow sarcastic, just like you stiles" she said. " sorry just this isn't how I thought my first day at a new school would go" I said stilling inches closer. "What being trapped in a zombie safe room?" A guy voice rang out this time. " oh no that happens all the time sorta my Thang" I said they laughed. "So you doing any sports?" Another guy voice. "Yea Lacrosse then my brother is trying out for football" "then we most of us are having big days we're trying out for lacrosse too" one said. "My dad doesn't think my brothers gonna make the team." "Wow, what about you does he think you'll make it." One said still not being able to see each other. "he doesn't know but If he did he wouldn't think I could" I said. "What? No sure you will" one said. I finally got up close to them. "Um..I'm Zemma, what yours?" I asked. "Stiles" what the hell is a stile?? "Scott" "Allison" "Lydia" "Nice to meet you" one of then said to me. I was smiling then the lights came on. They all screamed I frowned. "Oh Zemna we're sorry. Our parents have taught us that Zombies are disgusting, geteye freaks, but you're not hideous at all" stiles said. I scrunched my eyebrows. "...thanks I'll take it" I said smiling. "My parents hated Zombies ever since one bit my grandfather's ear off." Allison said. "Now we'll just talk your ear off" I said smiling they laughed. Someone came in there you are it was a security guard I ran out the other door as she chased me and I do ally lost her. I ran to the lacrosse field after I went to the locker room to change. "Alright welcome to lacrosse tryouts everyone in a line on the field except for you" everyone went out as I went to the coach except Stiles and Scott . "You can't tryout" "What?" "Principle Lee said yall aren't even supposed to leave the basement didn't she tell you" I stood up straight shaking my head. "No, no I don't remember that don't you think I would've remembered that. Come on just let me be on the team" I said "I can't have a zombie on the field we'll be a laughing stock, besides I'm not a trail blazers more like a follower actually I'm not really good at that either." I just shook my head grabbed my stuff and left.
Skip time
"You weren't gonna make it anyway" Eliza said to Zed. "Ah thanks for the pep talk" Zed said. "You know I think that cheerleader liked me" I stopped dead in my tracks. "Cheerleader?" I said. "Oh Crap, yea look walker I was supposed to tell you I'm sorry. ." He said to me o just nodded. "Anyways the one that punched you in the face?" Eliza stated. "Yea yea yea I think there is something there" Zed said back. Going up the stair I see Bonzo spray painting a K before and a Wafter the word 'No' making the sign say 'Know Zombies!!' I through my arm over his shoulder making him bend down bc he's to tall.
Skip.
It's dark and we're back home. Before we left school I didn't get to meet this "Cheerleader" but Zed showed me what she looked like she's okay. My dad calls Zoey inside and she comes up to me and whispers in my ear. "Human are outside" I didn't think much of it. I hear screams so I make my way outside with Zed behind me. I look around outside to see two cheerleader one seems to be Zed's Cheerleader I tried to stop him from seeing but it happened to quickly and he saw her and gave her a look of disappointment. "Anyone out there?" My dad yelled. "No dad it's no one" i said back as the cheerleader looked at me as I looked at her sadly and then she met my eyes and she looked down I put back hand around his back as his went over my shoulder and we walked inside. I turned to him and hugged him. He went farther into the kitchen as I went back outside i see more then just those cheerleader I see the people I let as well. I just turned around as they looked at me and I walked back inside paying no attention. That morning Zed and I made our way to school he was still sad about last night. We made our way to the basement. "Yea Bonzo in addition to getting rejected at football. I meet a cheerleader and I thought she was cool. Ya know I thought she was different. I know she was the one, but I was wrong cheerleaders are all terrible." Zed spoke I put my hand on his shoulder. "Woah there are no humans aloud down here" the janitor said. The four of us turned around. "Uh someone yacked in the cafeteria."
"Ohh right im still the janitor" Zed stepped to her. "Wow this is awful" she said. "Yea we would've cleaned but the teacher is territorial about his mop." "Sorry" she said moving out of the way for the Janitor. "Addison, what are you doing here?" ZED asked "apologizing, my cousin he's a jerk towards zombies and last night was cheer initiation. Not that that's a good excuse. I-I I'm so sorry." she said to Zed. "What if Bucky sees us talking?" Zed asked. "We'll make sure he doesn't" she said to him his face lit up he was happy. "Uh..see you at the pep rally this afternoon?" She asked "zombies don't do pep ralllies" Eliza said to her she just nodded her head. I looked at her. "We'll be there" I said as Zed turned and smiled at me. I smiled back and the girl smiled to me to as I returned it. "Ok see y'all there" she said to us. "Ok can we like crack a window open in here it stinks of human"Eliza said as I laughed at her.
Come to pep rally time we made our way up the bleachers and we sat down together. Eliza looked so not into it and so Zed said, "Eez up Eliza Cheers contagious" as looked at him. "So is Pink eye". After a while they busted out the one thing Zombies hate.....Fire. Bonzo was freaking out. He had pushed me down to get out of his way and mine and Zed's Z Bands were acting up fighting off from turning so I ran fought off the urge and ran to the bathroom. I accidentally hit my Z Band on sink and it said Online so thankfully it starting working again. I soon walked out if the bathroom and down the hall to be confronted by the lacrosse coach. He drug me to the principles office. "This girl and her brother can run and knocked through my office line men like they were nothing." He said to Principle Lee. "Look Principle Lee I can--" "upb upb coach wants you on the team" she said. "Really because with a monster like- I mean with a monster player we could win. Please. Please." He said begging me. "Ok could you give me a second?" I asked. "Yea yes ofc" I turned. Thinking' woah a who's playing sports me this zombie right here'. "Ok I'll play if-" I got interrupted my the principle. "You're brother already asked for seats in the cafeteria" I nodded. "If you win games then we'll talk more" I nodded again. "Ok yes ma'am sounds good. Coach I'm ready to start for ya"
