Love blossoms in mysterious way.

It is my first time to be in a foreign country by myself. I honestly don’t know if I can manage. But I hope I can. I really hope. Papu told me that uncle Sap will be on the airport to welcome me on my arrival. I’ll be staying on their place. He could help me in my Thailand escapade.
The distance from Manila to Bangkok is approximately 1366 miles, and it took me approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes of travel by plane. Hindi ako nakatulog the whole time, siguro kasi excited akong makarating sa Thailand, parang uuwi ako sa bansang ngayon ko lang naman talaga pupuntahan. Hummm… medyo masakit sa tenga yung pressure nung air sa loob ng plane, next time pala dapat naka-earphone ako.
Thailand is noted as the land of smiles. Obviously, land of smiles nga, because the moment I stepped my foot on the airport… nakasmile na yung mga taong nakasalubong ko. Nagwa-WAI yung mga attendants and clerks. Nagwa-WAI din yung iba pang Thais at mga foreigners sa mga nakakasalubong nila.
Point of Information (POI): Thailand is often referred to as the "Land of Smiles" in tourist brochures.
Another piece of advice, before going to a foreign land, it would be better if you know something about the etiquettes of the natives living there so you can avoid offending anyone.
POI:Wai or the Thai mode of greeting. The Thais join the palms of their hands (like hands in praying) and bow their heads in order to show a respectful greeting.

Yah… I’m really in Thailand. This is it. Puro Thai na yung language na naririnig ko! I know how to speak in Thai but I’m not fluent. Sa bahay lang naman kasi kami nakakapag-usap ng ganun saka minsan lang. Iba rin yung tone and diction pag Thai native na yung nagsasalita, hindi ko masyadong maintindihan. I already got my luggage. Where is Uncle Sap? I get his picture on my pocket. Papu gave it to me so that I can easily recognize him. Kaya lang lahat naman ata ng mga Thais, magkakamukha eh. Sino ba sya sa mga to? Hayyy… nahihilo na ko.
Hours had passed. Wala pa rin. Hayyy!!!! What to do now? Kelangan ko na bang magpanic? No. no. no. I can do this. Mag-aalala lang sina Papu pag tumawag pa ko sa kanila. Hindi naman siguro ko mawawala dito, kelangan ko lang makahanap ng hotel na pwede kong tuluyan habang di ko pa nahahanap si uncle Sap. Relax…
POI: Thais are often late for appointments, but nobody seems to mind waiting. Traffic jams are common, restaurant service, and hotel check-in procedures can seem slow and inefficient, but you won't see Thai people getting upset about it. In fact, most Thai people find it pathetic to see a person childishly expressing their irritation.
I went to the information desk of the airport.
Kor thod ka. Chan mi pang ha. Chuay chan noi dai mai ka? [Excuse me. I have a problem. Can you help me?]
Chai, nang-saaw… ^_^ [yes, miss ^_^]The lady on the information desk waided on me. She looks nice.
Khun pood pa sa ang kgrit dai mai? [Do you speak in English?]
