Just Another Girl

Chapter 10

"You did what?" Jordan asked.

    "I tried out for the Tourney team." Jenna replied. "Didn't you go to the game?"

    "No, I had homework to finish."

    "Jordan you can't keep on making choices for me."

    "I know that." Jordan said, she thought about it for a second. "Wait, is this about Jafar's son?"

    "He has a name you know." Jenna said, she saw Jordan glaring at her. "No this isn't about Jay, but he is the only person who seemed to believe in me."

    "I believe in you Jenna."

    "No you don't. If you did then you wouldn't have completely shut me out after the VK's came to Aurdon."

    "I'm sorry. I will try to do better."

    "Thanks."

    Jenna started walking away, but stopped when Jordan started talking again, "Congratulations on making the Tourney team."

    Jenna turned back around to look at Jordan and gave her a smile, "Thank you."

    Jenna walked through the halls and made it to someone's day. She thought about it for a minute and then knocked. She waited a minute before she saw the door opening. Mal opened the door and let Jenna go by passed her.

    "Hey what's up?" Mal asked, she closed the door and went back to where she was sitting on her bed.

    "Nothing much,  I just wanted to see how everything is going." Jenna said she saw everyone looking at her. "Look, I don't care about what you guys are planning. I don't really have any friends right now, so if you guys need help I am here for you guys."

    "Okay then." Jay said. He looked over to Mal. "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going to see the wand?"

    Mal looked over at Jenna then back at Jay. She continued to look through her spell book, "Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal asked.

    "Oh, someone's in a bad mood." Carlos said.

    "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Mal said, she flicked Carlos on the back of the head.

    "We can do this.... If we stick together." Jay said. He looked over at Jenna and saw that she was smiling at him.

    "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten.." Mal said.    

    "To the core." Everyone but Jenna finished. Jenna looked around the room confused but then was pulled back to reality.

    "Oh yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course." Evie said. She saw Mal staring at her. "What?"

    ~Knock, Knock~

    "Hold that thought." Mal said. She opened the door to see Ben smiling at her.

    "Hey, Mal." Ben said. "I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything.. That you needed.."

    "Not that I know of." Mal said. She looked at the others and they shook their heads.

    "Okay. All right." Ben said. He saw Jenna behind Mal. "Hey Jen."

    Jenna saw him smiling at her, "I have to go. I'll see you guys later." She pushed passed Ben, and walked away.

    "Wait Jen." She heard Ben say. She knew he didn't follow her because she still heard Mal talking to him. With that in her mind, she teleported back to her dorm room.
