Chapter 37

He heard silent sobs and stoped in his tracks before swiftly jumping on top of a nearby building and hiding behind a column that was close and looked over. His crimson orbs darkened a little with a piercing glare at the gruesome scene before him, clenching his already pale fists as he slammed his hand into the wall, cracking it.

'JUST WHAT THE HELL DID THAT BASTARD DO TO MY (Y/N)?!?'

Her ears perked as she heard crackling and some rubble fall off of a nearby abandoned building. They were in an isolated area and it was pretty late at night. There's no way anybody would come here at their own will unless they had other intentions.

"JUST COME OUT AND SHOW YOURSELF BEFORE I DEAL WITH YOU PERSONALLY, AND THAT ISN'T SOMETHING YOU'D WANT RIGHT NOW!"

White*star unveiled her infamous spear and swung it around before snapping right into a battle stance, pacing around the secluded area.

"...wait"

The elder sibling mumbled as he stood up slowly and slung his arms around her shoulder, hair shading his eyes.

"Hey, Star you don't have to, stay down..."she stared at her brother worriedly.

He buried his face in the girls neck and tried to hold a laugh before pointing to a column up atop a nearby building and snickered.

"She's fine, just come out dumbass."

Soul stiffened and held his breath, swallowing the lump in his throat. White*twinkle only looked at him in confusion before the elder groaned and put his hands on his hips.

"Earth to jaws. Do you copy?"

With that, the albino immediately jumped down from building to building before coming face to face with his friend. Black*star couldn't help but laugh at his reaction.

"For the last time Black*star my name is Soul. Not Jaws"

White*star blinked at he two, still lost as they continued arguing about before her temper got the best of her as she shoved the two away from each other.

"Okay WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW?!"

Soul finally decided to look away from the airhead and looked toward she short girl with a worried look. He was about to say something until his thought got cut off by her bloodied forehead. But then his thoughts got cut off once again by the iconic graffiti wall that now has a huge crater in the middle of it, along with a splotch of an unknown red dumb stance that was all too familiar to him. Soul pointed toward the wall and glared at black*star.

"Star I swear to death if you're the one who did this to her then we're gonna have to talk buddy-" Black*star cut him off with a pat on the back and gave him an apologetic smile before turning toward his younger sister who looked at him with mixed feelings.

"Look, White*twinkle. I'm sorry for lashing out at you like that, this isn't your fault. And I think I can learn from what ever just happened. But what I do know is that I can move on now, and I won't be alone this time"

He ruffled her head and kissed it before waving off and walking away. Leaving both students with a dumbfounded face at his new self.

"I'lol be alright, just neddd to walk around for a while,"

He paused before turning around and giving her a small grin, with the wind passing by and the moon over his head, as he stood above him.

"So I guess I'll be seeing you around, huh sis" He turned around and started to jump from building to building before reaching the highest peak in sight and doing his signature laugh.

"YOU HEAD THAT DEATH CITY?! THE ALMIGHTY BLACK*STAR'S GOT A JUST AS AMAZING TWIN! BWAHAHAHAHAHA I GUESS THE WORLD DID NEED MORE GLORIOUS PEOPLE LIKE ME!" He screeched before jumping off of the building and going on a crazy frenzy across the city.

"YAHOOOOOOOOOO!"

White*twinkle chuckled.

"What an idiot."

She turned around and looked at soul with a small smile.

"So What brings you out here this late"

He looked at her up and down before asking a while bunch of questions on his mind on what just happened.

"Are you okay? Did you tell him yet? Did he take it well? Man you should have asked me to stay with you, I mean look at the wall!! You should have liste-" She shook his shoulders lightly before staring into his blood like eyes.

"Soul, hey, look at me, I'm fine"

He stared at her as if she had grown 3 heads and a unicorn horn.

"That's not fine, that's the definition of uncool"
The latter simply shrugged it off while putting away her weapon.

"I've dealt through worse. Don't worry about me-"

She was cut off by soul hugging her tightly, refusing to let go.

"Stop it."

"...stop wha-"

"STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE BY YOURSELF ALL THE TIME! " she flinched at his tone.

"YOU ALWAYS SAY THAT YOU CAN DO THINGS ON YOUR OWN AND THAT ITS ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY. IT DIESNT HAVE TO BE THAT WAY ANYMORE. YOU HAVE KID AND EVERYONE ELSE. YOU HAVE BLACK*STAR IN YOUR LIFE NOW. YOU HAVE ME DAMNIT!!"

She took a shaky breath and stared at him wide eyed as droplets of water began to trickle down his face. This was her first time seeing him in this state.

"IM HERE FOR YOU! WETHER YOU'RE (Y/N) OR WHITE*TWINKLE, YOU'RE STILL GIRL I KNOW AND LOVE . DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT FUCKING HURTS TO SEE YOU SUFFER ALL BY YOURSELF LIKE THIS?! DO YOU KNOW HOW USELESS I FEEL?! I WANT TO BE THERE FOR YOU. I WANT TO BE THE SHOULDER YOU CRY ON. I WANT YOU TO TRUST ME WITH YOUR BURDENS.

I WANT TO STAY THERE BY YOUR SIDE UNTIL THE END"

".....I-I"

He shoved her into his arms once more as she collapsed to the ground numbly.

"Just shut up and let me take care of you for once"

Soul picked her up bridal style as he walked all the way back to his apartment complex and opened the door to his room, locking it and laying her down on his bed. He got under the covers with her and held her in his arms, with no complaint from the bluenette. Kissing her nose and turning off the lights.

"Night, twinx, Love you"

"...."

"Goodnight, Soul"

"...."

"I love you too"
