Taking You

Julia:

It's been a month since Daniel left. We don't really talk, but that's because we both are busy.

They are releasing their first single soon, Daniel said. I wanna go surprise them and I've become close with Jonah so I asked him if we can set up a good time for me to surprise Daniel. We set it up and today is that day.

I'm in an Uber on my way to the Why Don't We house I'm nervous because I don't know how Daniel will act because we haven't talked in a week or so but Jonah says he does miss me. But we will know for sure, since I'm here.

I get out and I text Jonah. He comes running out and brings me inside the house and I look around in amazement. He laughs and puts his fingers up to lips signaling for me to be quiet. I do as he says and we turn a corner and we see Daniel playing around on his keyboard, I recognize the song.

He starts singing and I walk over quietly and then I start singing along "my youth is yours tripping on skies sipping waterfalls" he turns around and looks at me and immediately hugs me "Hi!" I yell happily. I him laugh and hug me tighter "what are you doing here?" He asks "too surprise you. Did it work, are you happy?" He looks at me with tears in his eyes and nods his head. I laugh and wipe his tears.

We let go of the hug and I said "Jonah helped me all with this" he looks over at Jonah and says "thanks man" he nods and Daniel takes me up to his room.

"This is my room"

I look around and I see the pictures of when he was little and a screenshot from our first video together and just photos of me and him "this is so cute" I say and I turn around and he is right behind me. "Jeez Daniel you scared me" he laughs and hugs me again "I missed you so so much!" He kisses my forehead

"Missed you too Danny"

We hear a bunch of footsteps coming up the stairs and we see 4 boys.

"Guys! This Julia" they all widen their eyes and smile

"I'm Jonah as you know"
"I'm Corbyn" he shakes my hand
"I'm Zach, the baby of the group" he hugs me and I hug back
"I'm Jack." He shakes my hand

"Well, you all already know but I'm Julia, one of Daniel's friends from back home" they all nod.

We all walk downstairs and Zach yells "let's go in the pool" I widen my eyes and nod "Julia loves the pool" I nod eagerly and run upstairs to get my bathing suit

Just a plain white bikini.

Anyways, I walk downstairs and I see all the boys waiting for me and we run outside and I immediately jump in

"Isn't it cold?" Jack yells.

I shake my head and he dips his toe in "YES IT IS!"

"We're from Portland. It's always cold" Daniel says.

I gasp "he's from Pennsylvania that shit is cold just as Alaska"

(A/N I live there and she is very right about that)

"She has a point" jack says in defeat. I smile and I swim around.

I get out to jump back in with the boys and I feel someone staring at me. I look over slightly and I see Daniel staring at me but why, I'm ugly.

I shrug it off and Corbyn and I count down.

"Three"
"Two"
"On-"

I get cut off by someone coming outside saying "hey guys, what's up" I swing around and I see a girl with long brown hair and is very skinny.

"Hey aspen we are swimming with Daniel's friend Julia" she looks at me up and down in disgust. I shiver at the thought and the guys go back to jump in but I say "Y'know what guys, I'm actually not feeling that good. Maybe tomorrow?" They nod and I run back upstairs and I change into something that I won't feel uncomfortable in.

Just a shirt with some high waisted jeans and my bracelet Daniel got me. I walk back downstairs to see all the boys changed and sitting on the couch. I sit next to Daniel and lean my head on his shoulder "nice bracelet" I laugh and he puts his arm around me. I wrap myself up in his body heat and slowly start to fall asleep "go to sleep J" I knew it was Daniel. I do as he says and let the darkness take over.

I wake up to someone putting their hand on my forehead. I flutter my eyes open and I see Daniel. "Your head is really warm, I have to take your temperature" I nod and now that I think about it, I do feel crappy. Probably got something from off the plane. He comes back and takes my temp "101"

I sigh and look at Daniel with tears in my eyes "don't cry" he says hugging me "I hate being sick" he nods "I know you do J" I start to feel sleepy again. I feel him pick me up and carry me upstairs and up into what looks like his room. He puts me on his bed and throws a little blanket over me and takes off my jeans and put on shorts not looking of course, takes off my socks, and puts the fan on low. This is to break my fever.

He starts to walk out when I hold his hand "please lay with me" I ask with a tear going down my cheek. He nods and lays down beside me, rubbing my head. "We will take you to the doctor tomorrow" I nod and fall asleep once again "goodnight J" I smile softly "goodnight D"
