Bet

Julia:

Im home. I'm all better now. I took my medicines and got my tonsils removed and I'm back to normal. I was cleared to sing so I thought about a bet Daniel and I made a couple weeks ago.

I call Daniel.

"Daniel HI!!!!" I yelled into the phone

"Ow. But hi J" he says

"So remember that bet we made awhile ago to see who the better singer is?"

I hear him sigh. "Yep!"

"Well I was wondering if you could come down to Portland to sing at my parents bar and grill?"

I hear shuffling around and I hear a car door slam over the phone. "Yeah. Definitely, just open your door" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and he hangs up on me? Wow what a great friend.

I open the door and I see the one and only Daniel Seavey standing there. " WOW! Hey!" I yell hugging him. "Why are you here. No offense but like" he laughs and walks in "I was visiting my parents because it's our break and I thought why don't I go stop at Julia's. And here I am" I smile and hug him again.

"Well I already set up the times and live broadcast and fans already are coming to the grill @ 8". We glance over at the time and see it's 7:30

"Well. We better get going" I say laughing.

We both walk out and we see Daniel's parents arriving just as we are. We all walk in together and we see a bunch of fans there and the live broadcast set up. As we were looking around we see all the guys and their families!!!

We run up on stage and we wave to everyone "Hey everyone what's going on?!" I yell. I hear a loud roar from the crowd and I laugh

"So! We are going to be having 4 rounds. The last round is the voting round. You vote on each of ours cover songs which there is 4 and then we sing a song at the end to see if you guys like us better together singing or to see who is better at singing solo" Daniel says. Everyone claps. I shoot him a glare and we set up. I start singing

I smile at him and I see everyone yelling and clapping and I look over and I see Daniel clapping. "Alright Danny Boy. Let's see what you can do" he smile at me and grabs his cello. I scoff already knowing what he is doing

Wow. That was something.... Wow. I start clapping and smiling. He returns it, he won't be tho.

I put on the soundtrack for the song and I say "now before I start this. Daniel you MAY know this song I'm just guessing" the beginning of the song starts playing and everyone screams and he scoffs and swings his head down.

I finish off the last note and everyone is standing and clapping I look over and I see Daniel doing the same. I bow and everyone laughs. "My turn." He winks.

Of course he did. Ive told him too. One of my favorite covers. Location. I stand up and start clapping with him and I hug him

Then we hear Zach yell "NOW SING TOGETHER HOBOS!" I widen my eyes and I yell back "shut up Zachary Dean. I will make your mother ground you, she loves me more" everyone ooos and he looks back at his mom and pretends to cry.

We set up for this song. We get the piano pulled out and we sit on the bench. The lights are lowered and we see a couple people pulling out their flashlights swaying them back and forth as we sing

We sing the last note and we look around and we hear complete silence. Everyone stands up and starts cheering and clapping and whistling.

"Okay! Now a link has been set on twitter to see the votes and there's a special option that BOYS manager had me add and Zachary dean I see you pulling out your phone to check. Stop before I tell Myta" Zach groans and all the boys run up on stage.

1'hour later

"And the results are..... BOYS SING THEIR NEW SINGLE!" I yell and everyone cheers and the boys look at each other wide eyed "I hate you" they all say and they set up the mics "everyone this "Taking You" why don't We's first single" I say.

After the song. I feel tears going down my face and I run up on stage and I hug Daniel. He hugs me back and I say "I'm so proud of you Danny" I feel him smile "thank you. I love you J" I smile "I love you too d"
