Ready for a Riot?
Voices were echoing around Southside High, the Ghoulies were quietly selling jingle jangle, others were eating junk food, throwing their wrappers on the ground, and the Serpents were minding their own business.
Magdalyn Woods was a Serpent, even though she wanted to be inclusive and a lone wolf at times. Her long almost platinum blonde hair was usually tied in a ponytail or occasional just loose and wavy, her eyes were as green as a just rained on clover, she had pale skin and stood at around 5'8. The girl liked to wear dark colours, and her signature Vans. Everyone calls her 'Maggie', 'Mags' or 'Woods', unless they want a black eye.
Maggie already made her way through the metal detectors at the door. She was thankful it didn't detect her spray paint cans. She walked to her locker and grabbed her textbooks, novels, and her notebook she would write notes in but also doodle all over. The teenager also had multiple ear piercings.
"Woods!" Maggie whipped her head around, to see Sweet Pea the Serpent.
"Peabody!" She exclaimed, to annoy her so called friend. "Still trying to make me make me help the cook?" Maggie asked with a small sly smile.
"You do whatever the hell you want." Sweet Pea told the girl.
"I got to go Peabody." Maggie closed her locker and used multiple locks to lock it. "And if you add an 'R' to your name, you would be Sweet Pear." Magdalyn smirked and walked away.
After an Hour and a half of classes and such, Magdalyn ran into a dark haired boy, with a beanie containing many pins and her very good Friend, Toni Topaz.
When the two collided, Maggie fell to the ground.
"I'm so sorry." The boy apologized. Shifting his gaze to Maggie. Toni, however laughed. "Forsythe Pendleton Jones the third, meet Magdalyn Rosanah Woods.""It's Jughead, actually." The dark haired boy held his hand to pull the girl up.
Maggie took it and was pulled up by Jughead. "It's Maggie." She smirked. "And there are three Forsythe Pendleton Jones' ?"
"Shut up." Jughead breathed in, while Maggie silently laughed. The boy looked oddly familiar to Maggie, but she couldn't put a finger on it.
"Mags is known here for being both sarcastic and salty." Toni told Jughead.
Maggie shot Toni a look "Anyways I've gotta show some guys how to properly play basketball." Maggie smirked and walked to the rundown gymnasium.
The freshmen or rather freshwoman, entered the gym, then grabbed an round, orange basketball and showed off to the boys. Magdalyn was always very athletic and a tomboy. Maggie didn't want anyone to know she had a soft side, especially in a school, like Southside...
When the school day was over and Maggie grabbed her supplies. The girl made her way to an abandoned train tunnel. She set her backpack down and opened it, so she could grab her spray paint. Maggie was working on the tunnel for what it feels to be forever.
Magdalyn grabbed the black spray paint and outlined an object, she took her other paint and sprayed the wall in front of her. After a few more strokes, or rather sprays, the object was now a colourful skull, with flowers coming out of it. She smiled and peeked at her other creations. An inspirational text, that said 'Make It Happen', bordered with black and violet swirls of colour, a girl's face with her dark hair falling onto her face and many more works, that would take all day to explain.
Had she finished her art today, Maggie took her stuff and headed to her father's trailer. She opened the locker front door with her key. She went straight to her tiny room and threw her stuff on a chair.
"Maggie?" A familiar voice asked.
Maggie turned to her rooms door "Dad?"
"You're home." David Woods voiced as his daughter made her way to the small cozy living room.
"Have to at some point, don't I?" Maggie stood in the small kitchen beside the living room.
"How was school?" David asked his daughter, who was searching for food.
"Just great." Maggie took a Bear Paw out of the bottom cabinet. "Showed some boys how to play basketball."
David smiled, but it dropped immediately "I have to go"
Maggie turned to face her father. "Serpent meeting." Her father nodded and grabbed his leather jacket.
"Take care of yourself." The man said as he opened the door. "Love you, Mags." The he was gone.
Maggie jumped on the couch and watched her favorite show, Friends. She also finished her Bear Paw.
After about seven or eight episodes Maggie decided it was time for bed, so she turned of the TV, went to bed.
