So there she was. Change. It's it weird that change can either be so good for so bad? Was this change good? Maggie was was trying so figure this out for the last hour or so. It was around maybe three in the morning and Maggie was staring at herself through the mirror in her friend's bathroom.

"It's cute." Maggie told her friend.

Nic scoffed. "I helped you for the last hour and all we get it 'cute'."

It was pink. Not like a neon pink or something radical. It was like an orangie-pink. A salmon or like a soft peach. "No, I love it."

"You better." Nic and Maggie had made their way to Nic's bedroom.

The two old friends were sitting on Nic's bed, talking about whatever came to mind.

"I still see your cousin around school." Nic blurted out. The girl went to school in the Northside, since that's where Nic lives.

This should not have surprised Maggie as much as it did, I mean the boy still lived their too. "Arch?"

"Isn't he your only cousin?"

"Yeah." Maggie sighed. "How's he doing?"

"He started some group to find the Black Hood or something." Nic told her old friend.

"Yeah, I saw that ." Maggie said recalling the many hours before. "Some of the Serpents were watching that at school."

Nic nodded. "I think he's dating the new girl."

"What new girl?"

"Veronica Lodge."

"Am I supposed to know her name?"

"She's like really pretty, super rich and is becoming quite popular. Heard her dad's a dick or something."

Maggie was tired of hearing about this "Veronica Lodge" and asked a different question. "You remember Jughead?" Nic nodded. "He goes to my school now and what's her name... Betty is almost always with him."

"Maybe it's because they're in a relationship."

Maggie rolled her eyes at her friend's comment.

"Baby, you have got to get home and sleep." Nic pointes out, half telling her friend to the heck out of her house and half telling her to take care of herself.

"Fine." Maggie said exasperated. The girl wanted to gossip and talk with her friend for longer, but she knew it was late for the both of them. "Love you."

Nic smiled before kicking her friend out. "Love you too."
