FROM THE SHADOWS

CHAPTER 3: sapphire

The pegasus was dark. White underside and silvery mane. His wings seemed worn. Like he was old
"What is it you want?" He said in an creaky voice.
Lucy blurbed out "we need to meet the king and queen!"
The pegasus than Snorts "like I'd let you two, see the sapphires?" He chuckles "you already look sketchy,  horrifying if we're talking about Mr skull-"
Wallace wrinkles his nose and let's a low growl escape.
"The only one I'll let passed, is well. The pink one"
Lucy squeals. Wallace face palms "FINE!  Let her in-"
The pegasus bows and opens a welcoming wing to Lucy. She ran in, happier than a puppy at a dog park.
She looks around at the amazing scenery,  most of it being polished sapphire and gold. She began to travel the castle she stops. At a big pair of doors, with silver knockers. She couldn't reach them. So she simply knocks.
The door was opened again. This time by a blue feathered dragon, with a purple scaley face, and golden feathers along the cheeks. He had birds feet "who might you be?"
His voice was quiet.
"LUCY OF THE OC-"
He stopped her right there "silent! Your to loud!"
Her voice echo's back. She nods and he sighs "well,  why must you meet with the queen?"
She was holding her excitement
"Well you seee- I was kidnapped from my ocean home, by queen ruby, than I escaped, silly guards. The bars gaps were to big! And I helped my friend Wallace out, I was in the mud. And he screamed, than we flew FAAAAR- and we landed here!"
The door dragon stares, and sighs "fine- She'll be here shortly"
"Oh goodie!!!" Lucy jumps in joy
The dragon walks off. Leaving her to wait. For 20 minutes she sat there, smiling. Than came forth the queen.
She was a dazzling blue pegasus. Her wings with golden and blue feathers. Her nose was beautifully gold. And she had earrings made of pure sapphire.
