FROM THE SHADOWS

CHAPTER 7: flight

The library was a nice place to sleep for the nights that passed
It was calm, all you'd hear is the silent snores of dragons and the sounds of the forest.
It was heavenly
Wallace quickly healed with the days passing,
And Lucy quickly got to know Ren more.
Sky was happy to see her kingdom happy, despite the small area they had to live.
It was good enough for sleep and relaxation. ((Cuddling also kept everyone warm, including Yuki))
One afternoon, Wallace came back from hunting, he had three deer in his mouth, he dropped them and kids rushed to eat
The adults had to get food for themselves. Kids they fed off adults
"Thank you sir!" Said a little white silver dragon, with golden eyes and horns. "Ah, no problem kid."
He smiles as he watches the kids.
Sky trots over "wallace, how's your wound doing?"
"Doing fine, Sky. Sore but fine"
Sky smiles "that's good. Xavier and I shall go collect water for us, the statue used to be a fountain. So it has a pool at the bottom, we'll fill it. Wallace you need to go out with Gamice and Yuki, to find supplies of food. Bring more dragons if you must!" She smiles "its easier that way- and Lucy- you go collect plants and herbivore safe food,  so I and many others can eat-"
Lucy and Wallace nod, Lucy grabs Ren and they run off. Wallace goes to get some dragons to help.
He pads up to Gamice "hey I need your help hunting"
Gamice smiles and nods "s-sounds fine!"
"Go get some more dragons. As help-"
"Alright!" With that Gamice ran off.
Wallace went to get Yuki.
She was grooming her icy claws with a rock. Which was frosted over.
"Hey Jack Frost, need your help"
Yuki shot Wallace a glare "with-?"
"Food stuff"
"Ah-" she put her rock down, which shattered to pieces.
She gets up and walks to wallace "so?  Do we go now?"
"No I needa wait for one more idiot"
"Ah."
About 6 minutes later Gamice came back, with a feathery dragon, black in color. White sploches over his face, he also came with a pangolin like dragon. He was covered in feathers too, from neck to tail, his feet still scaly.
"Ah who are these?"
"Horiaco" the pangolin like dragon speaks
The other says in a happy tone "I'm Dohr!"
"Ah,  nice to meet you two, now let's GO!" With that he took off, everyone following behind. Wallace flew over the trees, yuki slowly sliding around each tree, flying smooth.
And Gamices crew all over the place.
Wallace spots elk, and dives, Yuki goes for known Bison territory.
And Gamices Crew, well who knows where. Wallace grabs two elk and snaps their necks, than flying up in a spin, Yuki drifts farther from her team. But knows where she is.
Gamice catches a rabbit, the make multiple trips, and near sunset. They finish, Yuki caught around 16 Bison
Wallace at least 30 elk and deer
And Gamices crew over 60 rabbits.
"Yeah that'll do- for now" wallace yawns, Lucy and Ren are already there. Stacks upon stacks of berry's, apples, grass, and even flowers
Wallace smiles and collapses. Yawning, Lucy runs to him "hey hey hey wanna go fly?!"
"Hmmm-?"
"I said,  WANNA GO FLY? the sunset is beautiful!  I wanna see if I can follow it!"
"Silly, you can't its in space." Wallace smiles "and?  I can try!"
"Fine- whatever you say-" Wallace stood up, wobbly
"Come on-" Lucy shot past him. Wallace instead, slowly followed.
Flapping after her. He catches up, tired beyond belief. He glides, Lucy flew towards the sunset, in an attempt to "catch" it. She was to late, the sun set. Leaving dark sky. And a very sad Lucy.
Wallace flew to her and smiles "see?"
"Yeah yeah whatever!" She dove to a tree and landed,
Wallace follows. He lands on a seperate tree. And sleeps. Lucy watches and sighs. She's bored. But she supposes since no ones here to talk, she sleeps.
