Jay,

Tomorrow is our school's annual function and I wish you luck. I know you’ll be the best—like always. I won’t be able to come to watch you on stage; mom has grounded me for not studying properly. I can’t blame her, because all I do is think about you. I have a lot to study before our finals. Cady will be there, so I’ll ask her about your performance.

Since the last letter, I’ve been trying to think less about you. Even though I am not very successful, but Cady says I have improved a bit. I concentrate more on my studies now. I even went out with Cady; we had fun. Mom is happy too. I hope I will be like this now.

Wishing you luck.
