Hoseok ♡ Biking in the City

"Y/n." A voice called out sweetly as a hand gently squeezed your upper arm.
Sighing softly, you snuggled down further into the mattress.
"Wake up, sunshine."
You hummed in response, still half asleep.
The hand on your arm pulled back and you could feel the mattress moving as the person beside you got out of bed. You didn't think anything of it while steadily starting to drift back to dreamland allowing the drowsiness to take over once more.

"Y/n wake up!"
You felt someone kicking your butt, jostling your entire body in the process. The disturbance pulling you from your slumber once again.
"Hoseok." You groaned into your pillow. "Let me sleep."
"No, I wanna go out."
"Then go out." You murmured, lazily waving him off.
"No, with you."
"Why?" You whined, dragging the word out.
"Because I love you and I want to do something fun."
"What exactly do you want to do?" You asked, face still shoved into your pillow.
"Let's go biking in the city."
"No." You dragged out.
"Physical activity is good every once in a while. Come on." He urged, using his foot to shake you once more.
"What happened to the Hoseok that was waking me up so gently?"
He laughed in response. "I tried being sweet but you didn't wake up, so I took a different approach."

Finally, you rolled over onto your back and saw your boyfriend standing on the bed over you.
"Good morning." He greeted, using his high-pitched, goofy voice, a huge grin plastered on his face. He looked too cute and you couldn't help but smile back.
"So, what do you say? You wanna go biking?" He asked you with hopeful eyes.
"Why not?" You gave in, knowing that you didn't exactly have a choice. For all you knew, if you declined he would just jump around on the bed until you caved.
Hoseok cheered gleefully at your response and bounced all over the mattress making the most adorable excited noises as he did so. You only smiled, watching him with a fond look even though your entire body was being jerked and jostled by his celebratory actions.
Sitting up, you continued watching in amusement as he shook the bed.
"Come on!" He grinned holding his hands out.
You grabbed hold of them and allowed him to pul you up to your feet proceeding to jump up and down. You got the message and joined in the celebration, bouncing around with him as you both laughed
Finally, he hopped off the bed, pulling you with him.

"Go put on some comfy biking clothes." He said pinching your side lightly, making you flinch.
"Okay." You laughed softly.
You owned a couple outfits that were technically made for wearing while exercising, though you never exercised and purchased them for loungewear. Grabbing one of the outfits from your dresser drawer, you went off into the bathroom to change. You slipped on the sports leggings and the matching tank top, noting that the weather was still a bit chilly so you grabbed a jacket from your room and threw it on over the tank top. Finally, you slid on your walking shoes and you were ready to go.
Hoseok had on a black windbreaker, some army green cargo pants, and some Puma tennis shoes.
"You look nice." He smiled adoringly when he saw you.
"Thanks. I figured I should put these exercise clothes to good use." You tittered.
"You look perfect." He praised as his eyes drank you in, lingering a bit too long at your backside. "So perfect."
"Hey, knock it off." You delivered a light and playful smack to his arm.
"Just admiring what's mine."
You rolled your eyes, letting out a small squeak as he hooked his arm around your waist and pulled you into his chest.
Thought Hoseok had a sunny and bright personality, he could be flirtatious and mischievous when he wanted to, which you found to be both dangerous and sexy.

The both of you went out to the shed where your bikes were stored. Hoseok retrieved them both, rolling yours over to you so you could hop on.
"Where are we going?" You asked as you pedaled beside him down the sidewalk.
"I was thinking we could just ride around the city. Wherever adventure takes us."
"Sounds good to me."

You rode alongside him as you biked into the city, which was scattered with a few pedestrians that were out enjoying the idyllic weather. The scenery was stunning and the refreshingly cool air brushing past your cheeks felt invigorating and helped to wake you up a bit more. The outdoor breeze paired with the physical exercise of pushing the bike pedals assisted in stretching out your muscles which were still a bit stiff from sleeping.
The both of you biked along the concrete sidewalk, stopping a couple times to snap some photos as a way to remember the day. The light gray clouds covering the expanse of the sky made for a beautiful backdrop and you never turned down the opportunity to snap a pretty picture.
One of the other times you stopped was to get something to snack on and rest for a few minutes. You and Hoseok decided to get something quick and easy so you opted for going to a convenience store.
"You know, I'm actually having a lot of fun so far." You admitted, taking a sip of your beverage. "I'm glad you forced me out of bed."
"I knew you'd enjoy it." He grinned. "Plus, I told you physical activity was good. Don't you feel more awake?"
"I do." You nodded.

After your brief break, you got back on your bikes and continued your ride through the city.
At some point, you started to get behind a little which caused Hoseok to tease you, shouting over his shoulder, "You'd better keep up!"
"Give me a break." You groaned.
"You're lagging."
"I'm being leisurely." You corrected.
"Sounds like you're making excuses."

Hoseok's impromptu biking excursion lasted about two hours, though it felt like longer, your legs feeling like noodles once you were finished. You were briefly worried you wouldn't be able to make it back home, but by some miracle, you did.

"You want some fruit? That's really nice after a long day of biking, don't you think?" Hoseok asked.
"Sounds refreshing." You said taking a seat at the kitchen island.
Hoseok got some fruits out of the fridge and grabbed a cutting board from the cabinet before he started chopping up the fruit. He cut up some strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and bananas, tossing in a few grapes too.
He put all the colorful fruits into a bowl and handed it to you with a gleaming grin.
"One fruit salad for the lady."
"Thanks baby." You gratefully took the bowl from him.
He moved around the island and took a seat beside you with his own little bowl of fruit.

While you ate, you talked about the day and all the different things you saw while biking.
"Did you see that flower field way in the distance when he were crossing the bridge?" You asked. "It was covered in purple."
"I did. It was beautiful."
"Thank you for dragging me out of bed today."
"You're welcome." He smiled softly, leaning over to give you a soft kiss, the taste of mixed fruit still lingering on his lips.
"How about we both get cleaned up and rest our tired muscles, hm?" He hummed, brushing the tip of his nose along your cheek.
"That sounds nice." You sighed, closing your eyes for a moment. "Though I don't think I have the energy to stand in the shower."
"What if I helped?" He inquired softly, his hand running up your arm. "You won't have to do a thing. I can take care of you." He placed a kiss on your neck. "Plus, we can save water that way. What do you think, sunflower?"
You held back a small grin as you responded. "I like that idea."

Near the beginning of this imagine I almost wrote that Hoseok had "Puma sneakers on" but when reading over it all I could think of was "Put my sneakers on 🎶"
