~Oki lets get to the story~

Haru: There was a new girl on the swim team. She was a foreign exchange student, and she added a new atmosphere to the school. Instead of her natural hair, she rocked a pastel ombré look. She was fresh, and cheerful, and out of all the clubs she could've chosen, she chose the swim club. Even though she didn't seem to be the type of girl Haru would be into, they seemed close right away. After awhile, her and Haru seemed to hang out all the time, but you were the only in Haru's heart... or so you thought. One morning Haru asked you to meet him at the park, and you agreed to go. When you got there you saw that Haru looked a bit nervous, and was standing a good distance from you. "Haru, what's wrong?" You asked. "I don't know how to say this," Haru said in a quiet voice, even softer than normal. "Say what?" You asked. "I'm in love with someone else," he said, looking at you. You stood there in shock, and then in anger, and then sadness. "Oh..." was all you could say. Then you turned your back and ran, knowing exactly who he was talking about, but you also knew that he wasn't going to say much more than a simple name.

Makoto: The new manager of the pet shop you worked at hired a new employee. She was a junior at a neighboring high school in Iwatobi, so you guys didn't know each other. You were a fairly busy person, so she was basically your substitute for whatever days you were gone. One day you applied for 3 weeks leave, due to your (sport) team entering a tournament and you having late practice everyday, leaving the weekends for you to finish your homework, not that the pet store was open then, but employees came into to tend to the animals. That sunny weekend you finished your homework early, and you decided to go to Makoto's house to see him. Before you could knock on his door, you saw it open. "Makoto!" You exclaimed, happy to see him. Makoto sighed and shot you a sad smile, "(y/n), we need to talk," he said, leading you to the big tree in his front yard. "So, you've been busy and all with school and the tournament, and I respect that, except that during that time I may have fallen in love with someone else," he said, looking into the distance. You were suddenly overwhelmed with mixed emotions. From sadness, to anger, to jealousy. "You've known her for a month, and you're already in love?" You ask, tears pricking your eyes. "I'm sorry..." Makoto murmured. "I'm sorry? That's all you could say?" You yelled. "We've been together for nearly a year, and you're willing to throw it all away for a girl you've barely known for a month!" You continued to yell. You could see the guilt in Makoto's face, and all you could do was turn away and walk back home.

Nagisa: There was a new candy shop that opened on a corner of Iwatobi, opposite of town from the old candy shop that you and Nagisa go to. For a couple of weeks you haven't been able to see Nagisa that much anymore. Usually, you two met after school when he had no practice, or on the weekends, and occasionally, you would go to his meets. Lately, however, Nagisa has been disappearing, and you couldn't find him anywhere. You would come to his practices, but he would always manage to get away right before you got the chance to talk to him. You started to ask Rei where he's been going, and Rei kept saying that he's been going to the other side of town a lot now, he liked the candy store that they had there. One day after their meet you managed to pull Nagisa back. "Nagisa, where have you been?" You asked. Nagisa had a sad look in his eyes, "I'm sorry (y/n), I was going to talk to you this weekend, but since we're in this situation, I might as well tell you now; I think I like someone else," he muttered. "W-What do you mean?" You asked, tears pricking in your eyes. "So, you know how I was heading to the other side of town? Rei said he told you," Nagisa said. "Yeah, what about it?" You asked. "The new candy store owner is this girl..." "is that the one you like?" You cut him off, and he nodded. "I was going to ask her out after I talked to you," he said. "Oh..." was all you could say. You started avoiding going out, and the candy store altogether. You were told that it was the girl Nagisa liked, but his favorite candy was sold at the corner store on your side of town.

Rei: You guys were in college and while you were a (career/ subject) major, while Rei was a science major. This meant that you guys didn't see each other as much anymore, and slowly you two grew apart, but your love for each other stayed the same... or so you thought. One day at lunch you saw Rei sit with another girl, so you joined them, "hey, Rei!" You exclaimed. Rei not looking up from his work responded, "hello, (y/n). This is Rina (feel free to change it), she is a science major like me, we are doing a project together." You nodded, and gave her a wave, but like Rei, she didn't look up. Days turned into weeks, and weeks, and weeks turned into months. One day Rei gave you a call and asked you to meet him at the campus park. You quickly agreed, thinking that he was finally taking you out. When you got to the park, you saw Rei look at you a little anxiously, and looked up into the tree. "So... (y/n), I've been thinking, we don't see each other much more so we?" He started. "No, I suppose not," you replied. "That's why, I think, we should go our separate ways," he said. "Wait- Rei, are you saying we should break up?" Your voice cracks. "I'm sorry, but it might be for the best," he said quietly. You nodded, "I agree," you said, but inside you were disagreeing completely. The next few days you saw Rei with Rina, and you finally knew the real reason why Rei broke up with you.
