Rin: (This scenario is as if you were at an American high school) You were a cheerleader for Iwatobi High School; not only did you cheer for the football team, you also cheered for every other sports team; except for the swim team, since the floor was too slippery. When you announced that you were a cheerleader and you could no longer make it to his meets due to practice or games, he got mildly upset. He didn't like the idea of you missing his meets; he didn't like the idea that you were cheering on other guys that he didn't know; he hated the idea of someone making googly eyes at you in a cheerleader uniform; but what got him going most of all was that: your ex boyfriend was the star of the football team. Rin knew for a fact that, that guy was still trying to get together with you ever since you broke it off with him, and even once in awhile now, even if you were with Rin. One night Rin decided to surprise you by showing up to a football game, and seeing you after you cheered. About 20 minutes after your routine, Rin started looking for you. When he found you, you were at the concession stands talking to (ex/n). You were laughing and smiling with him and Rin got jealous. He got closer to hear your guys' conversation. (Ex/n) made another joke and you started laughing again. "What a lame joke," Rin snarled under his breath. "Hey, do you want to go out sometime?" Rin barely had time to get his thoughts together before he rushed up to you, and hugged you from behind. "Hey, babe! Your routine was great, I can't wait to see it again, but for now, let's go get some food, alright?" Rin said quickly. "Oh, hey Rin! I didn't know that you could make it tonight, but sure, let's go grab a bite to eat," you replied, walking away with him, acting oblivious to the situation. While you were walking off, Rin turned and smirked at (ex/n).
Sousuke: (This scenario takes place about 10 years into the future. Also, he doesn't try to get with you; it's more of an encounter.) It was 2am and you were dozing off in a chair in your husband's hospital room. You looked at the time and sighed, rubbing Sousuke's hand gently. Only 6 more hours until his shoulder was cured for good. You guys were now in your mid-twenties and Sousuke decided that now was the time to get the surgery he needed. It was after you guys found suitable jobs and a home, but also before you had any kids. You looked at Sousuke one more time before falling asleep. When you woke up you were laying on a bed-like sofa on the other side of the room against the window, instead of right next to your husband. Sousuke was back; it was now 10:30 in the morning. You weren't surprised; after all, it wasn't a complicated surgery. Sousuke had an oxygen mask on and he looked a bit weaker than he should look, but you can't just expect him looking as model-like as usual after surgery. You looked at your husband some more and then you saw a doctor come in. Immediately, he recognized you, and his smile got wider. "Hey, (y/n)," he spoke all too cheerfully. "Hello, Dr. (ex/l/n)," you said, keeping a serious face. "So is this your... cousin?" (Ex/n) asked. You shook your head, "no, he's my boyfriend," you replied. "Oh well, you don't technically count as family, so I must ask you to leave," (ex/n) smirked. "What do you mean? I'm allowed in here, the nurse said so!" You exclaimed. "Now, now, Miss (l/n), let me escort you out," he said, leading you out of Sousuke's room. "(Ex/n)! Please let me back in to see him!" You pleaded. "No. Consider this my revenge for breaking my heart," (ex/n) smirked sadistically and turned his back. A few hours later a request for a different doctor was made for Sousuke and you were allowed back in.
Nitori: You were by yourself on a cool fall day. You haven't gotten a day to yourself if What seems forever. Usually, you were busy working or studying, but today you found yourself with nothing to do. You were sipping on (drink) and walking through town to see the leaves change colors and drift off their branches. Suddenly you hear someone running and quickly approaching you. You turn around to see a familiar face. "(Ex/n)?" You asked, surprised. "I knew it was you!" (Ex/n) exclaimed. "You're even more beautiful than the last time I saw you," he said. "Why thank you," you blushed, remembering that he was a charmer. "How have you been?" You asked, taking another sip of your drink. "I've been good; not as good as I was when I was with you, but I've gotten by," he laughed. "To be honest I haven't dated at all since we've broken up," (ex/n) said. "Oh, you haven't?" You asked. "Nope," he shook his head. "That's why when I saw you, I took this chance to ask you to dinner, this weekend," he said. "I'm sorry," you replied sadly. "You're an amazing guy, but I have a boyfriend," you continued. (Ex/n) nodded, "I understand," he sighed, turning around and walking off. A few moments later you felt someone hug you from behind. "Nitori!" You exclaimed, once you saw him. "Hey, (y/n)," he said, "who was that guy?" "Oh, that was (ex/n). We use to have a thing back in the day," you said. "Oh really, he's really handsome," Nitori replied. "You think?" "W-What? N-No! Not in that way!" Nitori said, flustered. You laughed, "it's okay, Nitori. I'm with you now. All I have to worry about is that you'll leave me for him," you said.
Momo: One day you opened up your laptop to find a message from (ex/n). You sat there confused for a second; then you thought about your guys' relationship. (Ex/n) was a guy you had met online. A month after you met, you were swept into a whirlwind relationship with him. He was the perfect boyfriend. He was cute, he was smart, he cared about your wellbeing and he genuinely was a good person. Your favorite thing that he did was he would send you a paragraph in the morning and a paragraph at night telling you how much you meant to him. You don't remember exactly why you guys broke up, but you guys split up on good terms. Eventually, there would be a video call here and there, but nothing much. As much as you don't like to admit it, you still stalk his profile just for fun. For a while it seemed like he had a girlfriend, but lately, she's seemed to have disappeared. You quickly open (ex/n)'s message to see:
(Ex/n): hey 👋
You text back:
(Y/n): good evening
It didn't take long for (ex/n) to reply.
(Ex/n): how are you nowadays?
(Y/n): I'm great, how about you?
(Ex/n): I'm floating by, like always.
(Y/n): how's the new girl?
(Ex/n): doing a little profile stalking I see. We broke up a few days ago... that's why I wanted to talk to you.
(Y/n): how so?
(Ex/n): I don't care that you're across the country (y/n); I love you. I can't get over you, no matter what girl I date; my mind always wander back to you.
(Y/n): I'm sorry... but I can't... I have a boyfriend now.
(Ex/n): oh really? I bet he couldn't treat you as good as I can.
(Y/n): does it matter? I love him for who he is, and nothing can change that.
(Ex/n): alright... I can respect that, but always know that my doors are open when you need me.
(Y/n): thank you for the offer, but I don't think I'll be needing it anytime soon.
As you wrap up your conversation you hear crunching in the background. You turn around to see Momo eating a bag of chips on your bed. "So are you done yet?" Momo asked. "Yes, I'm done now," you replied, shutting your laptop and hugging your boyfriend.
Seiji: You were stretching and getting ready for your swim meet when your eyes met the deep grey eyes of (ex/n). Throughout high school you dated a guy named (ex/n), who was a swimmer as well. He had deep and sharp grey eyes, dark hair, and a constant smirk on his face (imagine an evil looking Sousuke). He was the top swimmer on the team and everyone thought that he would make it on Tokyo U's team, just like you. During your first year in high school you thought that you were the perfect couple- just as everyone else did. You thought that he had a hard exterior, and his eyes would soften up, just for you. However, as time went on, you realized that those eyes stopped softening for you- as if they ever did at all. When he made the final decision of moving to Kyoto for college instead of Tokyo, you thought that was your exit out of the relationship. In fact, he had beat you to it; he had broken up with you and you didn't waste any tears on him. After you were done stretching, you went back into the changing room, until you realized that you forgot to buy a water from the vending machine. You made your way to the vending machine and watched as the machine made a few noises and then dropped the water into the slot. After you took the water out, you felt a shadow loom over you. "Well, well, well, isn't it (y/n)?" You turned around. "Hello, (ex/n)," you muttered, turning to face him. "Why don't we escape this dump of a school after the meet and catch a movie?" (Ex/n) suggested. "This 'dump of a school' happens to be my school," you said, pushing your way past him. Suddenly, you felt someone grab your wrist. "Hey! Let go of me!" You screamed, struggling to get free. A few seconds later, you felt strong arms pulling you free of (ex/n)'s grasp. "If you do that again, you'll be disqualified," a voice growled. "S-Seiji!" You exclaimed, hugging your boyfriend. "I'm so sorry (y/n), did he hurt you?" Seiji asked, glaring as (ex/n) walked away. You twisted your wrist a little and shook your head. Either way, Seiji still made you sit there and ice it before the meet. You smiled as you watch your savior made you a comfy spot in his office, and gently icing your wrist for you, glaring each time (ex/n) walked past.
