Chapter 9

Sarah's Pov

I woke up 5:00 in the morning on the dot. My usual routine is go out for a run and then shower and then breakfast. I removed my pajamas and grabbed bathrobe covering myself. I quietly closed my door hoping all the kids stay asleep. I grabbed a granola bar and left the pack house. The morning was my favorite time of the day. The sky is was a perfect shade of dark blue and the wind was chilly but humid. I hanged my bathrobe on the tree branch and shifted letting my bones crack to places. I started with a nice slow warm up followed by 100 percent sprint.

I reached the beautiful waterfall and noticed Link was sitting at the edge of the rock with his legs hanging in mid air and touching the waterfall. I slowly approached him. He looked so deep in thought it was weird to watch, he looked like he was dead or something. I stepped on a dead leaf making his head snap my direction. I nodded a hello and proceeded on walking towards him. I nudged his head telling him to give him his shirt. He removed his T-shirt and threw it at me. I shifted back to human form behind a tree and slipped on his over sized shirt. It looked like a dress on me. I sat beside him and we watched the waterfall in silence. 

When I found Link and his friends he was always the quiet one and gave the vibe talk-to-me-I'll-kick-your-ass. I looked at him and I've never really taken the time to look at him closely but his light blue eyes looked so beautiful I can stare at them all day. His face was like a greek god and don't forget those lips! They look so soft and yummy.. SARAH WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! I blushed and looked away swinging my legs back and forth playing with the water. "So..What was your old pack like?" I asked breaking the thick silence surrounding us. 

"They we're my home and my family." He said looking straight

I formed an 'o' shaped with my mouth. "What about yours?" 

"I-Well. The pack I was orignally at was amazing and everybody cared for each other. They we're just like a family too me even if I've never actually had one." I said looking down watching a lady bug crawl on my leg

"What happened?" He asked still looking ahead

"I'd rather not talk about it..." I bit my lip my eyes stung holding my tears. Ugh you're such a crybaby Sarah! 

He nodded and helped me up. "We should probably get back soon. Your stomach's been asking for attention if you haven't noticed." I gasped and patted my stomach making him laugh. The first time I've seen him without a scowl on his face. Man his face lit up and became more beautiful when he smiled. "You should smile more often" He stopped laughing and just smiled. We walked in our human forms. I forgot I didn't have shoes so my feet got all scratched up. Link noticed and carried me bridal style. I blushed and he made some jokes making me laugh. I've never seen this side before and I hope I see more of this often. 

We finally reached the pack and Link put me down I thanked him I told him to go ahead to the dinner hall where everybody is eating breakfast. I went to my room to change but I felt someone from the shadows growl I turned around and it was just Alex.

His fist was curled and he had a glare attached on his face. What's his problem? Time of the month most likely. "What's up with you?" I asked putting my hand on my hip. "You.Are.Mine. Why are you wearing nothing but a big shirt? And Why do you smell like him?! Did you guys fuck each other?!" He asked his face inches to mine.

I snapped. "FIRST OF ALL I AM NOT YOURS. I AM NOT ANYBODY'S. SECOND OF ALL WHO CARES IF I'M WEARING HIS SHIRT? WHO CARES IF I FUCKED HIM IN THE FOREST?! LAST TIME I CHECKED YOU WANTED SOMEONE ELSE AND YOU LEFT ME AT HOME CRYING MY EYES OUT. NOW I LEARNED THAT YOU DIDN'T DESERVE ANY OF MY TEARS. I LEFT FOR A REASON AND THAT REASON IS TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THIS BULLSHIT." I was breath heavily, my fist curled up.

He stood there shocked and looked like he was about to say something. I waved him off " Spare me the bullshit Alex.. We're done. Last night when you  said all that things to me. Inside I actually felt some hope for you but right now seeing that you don't even trust me. I don't think I even want to look at you anymore." With that I walked away not looking back. Second chance my ass. 

I was now headed to the Dining Hall changed into my sweats and my black spaghetti strap. I tied my hair in a loose bun leaving some strands of my hair hanging. I headed to the dinning hall. The minute I entered everybody stoped eating and stared at me as if I had something on my face. I raised my eyebrows at them and sat beside Wesley. Linda placed 3 pancakes on my plate. I smiled at her and I poured syrup on my food. "Fat ass" I heard Wesley whisper from beside me.

I glared at him and 'accidentally' spilled the syrup on him making him gasp and everybody turn our way. I smiled like an innocent little girl. He glared at me and threw a hand full of his oatmeal on my face making me form a big 'O' with my mouth. Everybody started to laugh at us, I was about to pour my orange juice at  him when Alpha Matthew used his alpha tone and kicked us out until we're clean. I pouted and left the dinning hall.

My stomach growled violently and I just sat in my room pouting. I heard someone knock and I slowly got up and opened the door raising my eyebrow curious to who it was. Link stood there with two plates filled with food. He smirked at me entered my room. "Since you got kicked out I felt bad and decided to eat breakfast with you" My heart skipped a beat. Aww he cares about me. "Why aren't you a gentleman" I said closing my door. "You wanna watch a movie while we eat or..?" He nodded and I picked a random movie sitting on the bed beside him. I started eating the french toast followed by the Linda's pancakes. I moaned in content.

The food was amazing and out of this world! Link set the plate on the side table and chuckled. I didn't really pay attention to the movie, I started to doze off and before I knew it I fell asleep on something comfy. 

Link's Pov (EEEEEeek)

I watched her fall asleep. Her face looked so angelic and peaceful. Any guy would be lucky to have her. I set my plate on the side table and turned off the movie. I laid down on the bed with her wrapping my arms around her small petite waist. It felt so right, it's like she belonged to me and she fits right in my arms. I sighed and fell asleep with her smelling her beautiful and sweet scent. 

I woke up with someone bursting in the door. I felt Sarah stir and slowly wake up. I looked to where the noise came from a guy with his fist clenched greeted me. I looked at him curiously. "Uh..How may we help you?" I noticed Sarah mutter 'Oh god.. Not again' I ignored her and went to focus on the intruder. 

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" He asked trying to burn a hole through my head just by glaring at me. 

"Uh..Sleeping?" Sarah replied in a 'duh' tone.

"OBVIOUSLY. WHY IS THAT PRICK SPOONING YOU?!" He exclaimed forgetting im right here. 

Sarah noticed where my hands were and blushed. "He's a good friend of mine and it's none of your business. Didn't you remember it's not your job to care for me anymore. Go fuck more whores and get out of my sight Alex." I was suprised by Sarah's tone. The guy known as Alex flinched and clearly was hurt of the tone she used on him. He growled once more and left. Sarah sighed and grabbed my arm and wrapped it around her waist again falling asleep acting like nothing happened. I went along with it and pulled her closer to me. We both fell asleep in no time.
