Chapter 7

Sarah's Pov

I woke up blinded in a pitch dark room. I sat up from the bed and rubbed my face. Holy crap I had this awful dream about eating Linda's famous mash potatoes and chicken when I noticed that Alexander was sitting right infront of me. How did I not notice? that was one hell of a deam. I groaned, What time is it? It's so dark I don't even know if it's morning or not. I stumbled getting up and using my arms to guide me without bumping into anything. I tried to feel the door knob but I ended up tripping on something making me fall on it. I heard another groan and my reflexes kicked in making me smack the thing with my hand. "Ouch what the fuck?" I heard the familiar voice. I frozed and smelt the intoxicating scent that I got used to waking up to every morning. I was breathless and I didn't know what to say. 

"Sarah?" He said 

"What the fuck are you doing here?" By now he got up and turned on the lamp beside the bed. "Second of all why are you in my bedroom?!" 

"Sarah let me explain-"

"No! I'm done. I want you out of here and I don't ever want to see your face ever again!" Believe me it hurt me to say those hurtful words to him. Every step I took away from him got harder and harder. I finally reached Alpha Matthew's office. I knocked twice and I heard him say come in from inside. I walked in and he was signing some papers. "What can I help you with Sarah?" He asked not looking up from his work. 

"Why did I find my mate in my bedroom?!" 

"Oh. Remember what I told you earlier? A pack got ambushed my hunters and so they'll be staying here in our territory for now. Now I know you've had a bad past with them but we need to help them. Your mate explained to us the whole story behind what happened and trust me I wanted to shred him to pieces. Since I am an alpha I have to act and be a role model so I put aside. When my mother called you down for lunch you we're too caught up with the food like usual and didn't notice the other pack seated with us at our dinner table. It was quiet funny but then when you finally noticed his existance you completely zoned out and passed out. I carried you to your room but your mate wouldn't leave you alone and no matter how much I tried to make him go to his room he'd rather sleep on the floor near you which leaves us to this situation" 

"Wow..." He chuckled and straightened the papers in a neat pile. "Now I know you're a strong girl. I trained you to be and I know deep inside you that you are physically and emotionally stronger than before. When we first found you roaming around our territory without knowing you we're even in one you looked broken and lost. I immediately stopped my men to attacking you and knocking you out cold because I knew you we're here for a reason. Don't worry if they ever give you trouble just tell me  I'll be glad to kick some ass but seeing as how amazingly trained you, you will do fine" I felt strength inside me ignite. I can do this! The old weak and naive Sarah Withford is gone! I need to show them to the real wolf here is. I smiled at him. "Thank you Alpha. I will definitely not let them get to me and I will be strong like you trained me to." With that I left his room feeling couragious and it felt like nothing can stop me. I walked passed the grandfather clock in the hallway and it was 6:00 pm, great time for a run in the woods. 

"Hey guys wanna come run with me?" I asked Wesley, Tania and Robin in my head. "Yup I'll meet you by the big stump" Tania replied. "I'll be there in a bit me and Robin just need to put some part together" Wesley replied. I headed back to my room hoping he left already. I slowly opened the door and relief washed through me when I learned that the coast is clear. I grabbed a small gym bag and put my grey sweatpants and a pink V-neck shirt followed by a pair of bra and a pantie. I stuffed it all in my bag and stripped my clothes off throwing them in one corner of my room. I shifted into my wolf and gracefully jumped in the small window and landing perfectly on the ground. I walked across the houses and I noticed that other people from my older pack was staring at me. I ignored them and carried on walking towards the forest.
