Hey guys......................😘😘

ZOEYA POV
We walked into the house and met everyone apart from the twins in the sitting room watching business news. Mum turned and saw Mufeedah's state and that made her shocked. She stood up quickly and rushed to her.

"Oh my God. What happened to you sweetie?". She touched Mufeedah's neck.

She wanted to talk but the only thing that came out was tears. I patted her rubbing soothing circles around her back, my eyes travelled and landed on dad who was looking at her but didn't stand up.

"You look horrible. Your mascara is ruined. Oh Sweetheart". Mum said hugging her.

"He's gone mum. He's gone!". She sobbed harder. I just stood there and watched every thing. Everyone was silent too and stared at Mufeedah. Bibah stood up to hug her but dad just sat there and glared, anger was seen blazing in his eyes.

"Who is gone?". Mum asked. Her eyes darting from me to Mufeedah.
"What is all this rubbish about?". Dad asked standing up.

"Khalifa from the foundation died". I said to dad.

"Is that why you come into my house this late and throwing a tantrum?". Dad said vibrating.
Mufeedah raised her head from mum's shoulder and glared angrily at dad.

"Is that all you can say?. Huh? Is that all you can really say?. He is gone and not coming back. Do you know what that means He really is gone". She walked up to him. There was nothing but a  little space between
them. I smell trouble.

"I'm not deaf. You left this house very early in the morning and came back this late and you are screaming he's gone, he's gone. What the hell is wrong with you?. I should have never let you own that foundation". Dad said, he towered over her.

"Well too bad cause that foundation is were I have rest of mind and love. Don't all these choke you?. All these riches are they relevant?. That foundation was the only place where I loved and was loved back. Did you ever tell me for once you loved me?". She screamed at dad.
I first heard silence. Everyone was too stunned to talk but then I heard a resounding slap. A slap dad gave mufeedah which made her almost fall to the floor.

"Don't ever speak to me that way. I am your father and should should show me some respect". He said angrily

Mufeedah smiled and said "Is that not all you cared about? Respect. Have I not given you that all these years?. You never cared about other peoples feelings, you only cared about your status, business but you never knew that your family and children are crumbling deep inside!!!". Mum bent her head as she spoke and I quickly held her. Bibah held me like her like her life depended on it

"Don't you ever speak to me that way or else.......". Dad was cut off by Mufeedah.

"Or else what?. Marry me  off to protect your business or because I am not a boy you treat me like trash, treat us like trash. If only you had a heart you would know you are hurting us. You would know that your only son was given to you with a girl so that you can value us". She said breathing heavily.
Dad didn't respond. No one did, no one could respond.

"You are very crazy for what you just said". Dad said through his teeth.

"Oh am crazy?!". Mufeedah pointed at herself. She looked broken. Her scarf was loose and fell on the floor. Her hair was sticking to her tearstained face. Her mascara was dried on her face even though fresh tears poured down her face. She looked like a woman I saw in the papers that begged for the release of her child who was detained unjustly, the only difference was that this was my sister!.
