we finished unpacking about 2 hours later. jonathan was doused in sweat. he looked ho- cute. 

"i'm gonna shower. you can stay here. i'll be quick" he suggested, taking a fresh pair of clothes to the bathroom. 

i nodded, blushing a bit. i sat on his bed. he had left to shower.

i laid down and smelled his pillow. it smelled of lavender and a bit of- smoke?

i shrugged it off . my eyelids started to get heavy. i yawned, attempting to stay awake, but i failed

i fell asleep on his bed

later, i was shaken away by a boy with a towel wrapped around his waist, water dripping down his chest from his hair. it was jonathan

"i'm so sorry! i didn't mean to i was jus-"

"shhh. it's fine" he laughed

i smiled. my watched beeped

it was 8:00. at night. 

"it's getting late, i should go" i said, grabbing my clothes off of the ground

"stay the night." 

"what?"

"i said stay the night, only if you want to, i mean"

"that would be great- but i don't have pajamas" i shrugged, itching my neck

"you can wear mine" he giggled.

i swear a saw a blush

this was it. i was about to sleepover at my crush's house. 

i stepped out of the bathroom, wearing jonathan's over-sized sweatshirt and sweatpants.

"oh sherwin." he laughed

i blushed and laughed along

tick tick. 9:30

i yawned. my normal bedtime was 9:00. my mom would check my room to make sure i was asleep.

jonathan pulled out a blanket for me to sleep on. 

"thank-" i was cut off by lighting

i jumped, being the scaredy cat i was

"woah" jonathan gasped.

i gulped and layed down on the blanket

"goodnight sherwin" jonathan blew me a kiss

i giggled. "night"

i rolled over on my side and tried to get comfortable

but i couldn't

lighting struck again, this time, the power went out

"fuck" he whispered, his voice cracking

i shuddered again. i hated loud noises

"hey sherwin? you awake?" he asked me

"yea?" i rolled over to face him

"c-can you come up here with me?"
