The Bad Boy's Girl

Chapter 2

"Can I get you guys anything else?" I ask to my table
" We're all set thank you so much"

I walk away and I enter the doors to the kitchen
" only 2 more hours then I get to go home and sleep" I say to Bianca, my co-worker and she laughs

"I'm out of here in 20 minutes" she says and I frown
" I'm so jealous" I say

" Cara, there's a party of 10 at table 6" John says and throw my head back " lord please" I say and I walk out to the table, as I get closer I realize it's kids from my school, all the jocks and they're with girls, some from school, some from other schools to be exact. As I approach the table Olly looks at me and smiles
" Sup Cara?" He says and everyone turns their heads towards me.

" hey guys, I'm gonna be your server tonight. Can I start you guys off with any drinks?" I ask and I make my way around the table, and I write in my notepad

Sprite. Coke. Water. Water. Lemonade. Iced tea. Water. Sprite. Sprite.

As I make my way to the last person sitting, I notice it's Cameron and he's smiling at me. " Coke" He says and I write it down " okay, I'll be right back with those" I say and I turn my head and walk away. I grab all the drinks and bring them out on a tray and I hand them out to every single person. When I reach over to hand Cameron his drink he has his arm over a girl and so I place it down my him. I stand up tall " okay, I'll give you guys a few more minutes to decide" I say with a smile and I walk away to the back.

Why do I care that he's with a girl, I've never even spoken to him. I think to myself

After a few minutes I walk back out to the table and I take everyone's order and I serve them, I check on them throughout the meal and finally when they're done I hand each of them a separate bill.

I come back and I grab everyone's bills then I walk to the register and check them all out, I get to Cameron's and he's written his number down and I stare at it. I smile and I put the paper in my pocket then I bring back the bills, I hand everyone their little book and it's finally time for me to clock out. I take off my apron and I grab my bag and clock out, on my way out I see Cameron walking out of the bathroom. I pretend I don't see him and I continue walking.
" hey!" He yells and I act like I don't hear, I feel his strong grip on my arm and I turn around.

"Hey" He says while smiling. " hi" I say, " uh, did you get the paper I left in the book?" He asks and I smile
" uh, yeah, I did" I say and he smirks " so? When can I take you out?" He asks and I laugh " take me out? Didn't you just have a girl with you?" I ask and he laughs " oh come on now, that's not my girlfriend" he says and I cross my arms. " I'll think about it" I say and I go to turn around but he pulls me back
" hey, I never got your name" he says and I smile
" Cara" I reply and he bites his lip. " well, Cara, I can't wait to see your beautiful face in school Monday" He says and I blush. " go get back to your girl before she gets suspicious" I say while laughing and he licks his lip " I'd rather have you" He says and I playfully roll my eyes. " well, uh, what's your name?" I ask pretending I don't know. "Oh, uh Cameron" he says and I smile "right, Cameron , Uhm maybe I'll text you, keep an eye out" I say and he laughs " I'll be waiting" he says as he bites his lip then turns away and walks out. God this is gonna be trouble.
