I got called by Red Tornado to heal some of the injured members of the Team. It seems they ran into a robot like Red Tornado, who called itself Mr. Twister. They managed to defeat it, but got injured in the process.

Their injuries were nothing more than scraps, bruises, and broken bones, so I was able to heal them easily using the Mystical Palm.

I moved from Wally to Kaldur. While I focused on the bones, Kaldur gave me a smile. "Thank you for doing this, Panacea." He thanked politely.

Everyone else began to thank me. I continued to concentrate on my jutsu while I answer back. "I'm just doing my job. No need to thank me."

Dick started to move around. "But, man! You've got awesome powers! I don't even feel an ounce of pain! I'm feeling the aster!"

I gave him a blank stare as I finished up Kaldur. "Huh? Was that in English?"

Wally started to explain to me. "It's one of Robin's quirks. He likes to make up words."

Dick took it from there. "If dislike is the opposite of like, disaster would be the opposite of aster. See? Instead of things going wrong, they go right."

I sweat dropped at this. Bruce, make sure this is the only kid you have.

Now that I was done with them, I gave them a glare. "You guys need to be more careful. Your actions could have costed your lives. You were lucky that your plan worked, but let me tell you something as someone with experience; hasty strategies won't always work. Next time, don't get so cocky."

Everyone sans Miss Martian narrowed their eyes at me. Wally spoke up first. "Oh, yeah? And who are you to tell us what to do?"

I gave them an irritated look. They want to play 'adults'? Fine. I'll show them the fear of the real world. I let out some KI. As expected, they all got down on their knees, had trouble breathing, and started to sweat profusely.

I scoffed as I stopped. "Pathetic. Every members of the Justice League is able to withstand at least this much."

I walked over to them and got down on my knees. I looked them straight in the eye. "Let me tell you something right now."

I looked at Dick, Wally, and Kaldur. "The only reason why you three lasted as long as you did in this business is because of your mentors. They were always there to save your asses when you did something stupid. Guess what? That is no longer the case. You guys decided to be on your own, so now, when you do something idiotic, your mentors won't be there to save the day!"

I looked at Superboy and Miss Martian. "You two may have great power and strength, but that is all absolutely meaningless if you don't have experience nor the brains to figure out a plan. You just started the hero life! Stop getting arrogant just because your stronger power-wise, unless you want to be dead!"

I stood back up and looked down at them. "You guys aren't immortal and Superboy, you are not indestructible like Superman! Stop acting like children who believe that their parents will rescue them every time and GROW UP!!"

I left the the base through the zeta tube and transported to the Watchtower as I gave them time to think and me time to cool off. I saw Hal watching over the tower.

I gave him a smile. "Hey, Hal." I greeted as I sat down on a chair with a tired sigh.

He gave me a look of concern. "What's wrong?"

I took off my mask and pinched the bridge of my nose as I let out another sigh. "It's nothing. It's just that the kids on that covert team are nothing but a bunch of brats! I can tell why you didn't take a sidekick."

He gave off a laugh. "Yeah, but they'll grow up soon. They just started to be on their own. Just give it some time."

I crossed my arms with narrowed eyes. "That better happen soon, before someone dies." I shot back quietly with a painful look in my eyes.

Hal looked at me. "Hey, Tsu. What opened your eyes to act mature?" There was a pause before he spoke again. "For me, it was the Appellaxian invasion seven years ago. The battle that created the Justice League. Before, I thought I could do everything on my own, but that battle made me realize how much I needed allies, besides the Lanterns."

I looked away as I answered him back, deeming it not right to ignore his question when he shared his story. "I had two people I cared about deeply. Their names were Nawaki and Dan. Nawaki died as a casualty due to a gruesome fight and I was unable to save him. Dan died while fighting. I was able to treat his injuries...but he lost too much blood and I couldn't get my hands on any."

I felt arms wrapped around me from behind. "I know I can't heal the pain, but does this help, even just a little?" Hal asks me softly in a playful and joking manner, but it was laced with his hidden worries.

I smiled as I hummed as I leaned backwards into his chest and closed my eyes. "Yes, it does." I opened my eyes again. "Hopefully, those brats don't suffer what I did for them to grow."

Hal smiled playfully and nodded. "While it may be hard to see now, those kids are going to be great heroes. They'll be fine."

I stared at the floor. "Hey, Hal? A wise old man once told me something that will forever be stuck in my memories. When the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village, and once again, tree leaves shall bud anew. Do you know what that means?"

Hal shook his head. "No, what does it mean?"

I looked out the window. "It means as long as our generation keeps fighting for the future and spreading our light, a new generation will always rise, taking on old and new wills."

He chucked lightly. "Well, that certainly explains us and them."

I imagined my sensei giving me a proud smile. "Yeah, it does."
