In The Eye Of The Storm

I can't,
I just can't believe it's happened,
I can't believe our 'us' broke,
When you once told me you wouldn't leave.

It's dark, so foggy, so deep, so unknown.
You wouldn't know if you were falling,
Because the ground under your feet has been taken away from you

I've called out for help,
But nobody heard my pleas,
It's so hard, it seems impossible,
To admit the truth, that you won't ever reply to me again. You left and won't be here ever again.

The wind is wild, the air masses circling you in,
As if you were another eye of a storm.
All the regrets and all this sadness in form of thoughts fly around you. But beware, they're always coming closer, so close you're not far from suffocating.

Now that's not the only thing, pieces of memories and heavy things fall down on you from the sky. At this point you can't talk about beauty as in the sky anymore. There are no stars, only baggage raining down.

I've been there before, so many times.
But you had said I wouldn't be there alone anymore, you said you'd be my portal back to the real world before I'd die. Look where this brought me, I'm here all alone. Lost. Forever.

No wait, there's something straight ahead very far yet though. It's a human, crouching to the floor. I ran up to him, forgetting everything. When I reach him, I realize that he must be the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. I can see his heart, warm, big and beating. There are no games, no lies, as we look into each other's eyes and only now I can see the tears in them.

I promise myself to help him loose this tears, i promise to be there for him. I have a reason now, to help him getting alright again. I'll bring us back through the portal. Somehow we'll manage and who knows, maybe we'll heal together. I won't give up now. I won't give up to breathe and live, because I have to get him out of here. He's my priority now.
