Hide bursted through the door,"Woah! This place is practically a mansion!"
Kaneki stood behind him, not knowing what to do. Before he could say anything Yukiko appeared at the stairs. She frowned slightly, thinking that Kaneki brought his friend here to brag about his new house. But judging by his clueless expression, it seems like it was unplanned.
She walked towards them and Kaneki introduced Hide to her.
"Yukiko, this is my best friend Hide," Kaneki said, smiling.
She nodded and ordered the servant to prepare some snacks and drinks for them. She turned around and walked away. So she missed all the nice things Kaneki said about her.
Kaneki and Hide hung out in his room the entire afternoon. Kaneki smiled. It was just like the old times, he really missed it. He was determined to protect himself and Hide. This time, he will live a peaceful life, with no Rize trying to eat him, no Kanou doing experiments on him, no Jason torturing him and no CCG on his tail the whole time. He was going to change his fate.
