My Bunny (Hide x Kaneki) HIATUS

Family meetings

It was the weekends and Takahashi san decided to show her brother her new adorable son.

At first, everything was normal. Kaneki was sitting and chatting with Hide on the phone. Suzuki san, who is Takahashi san's brother was fine with his sister's choice and took a liking towards Kaneki. But very soon after Kaneki hang up the phone he started fidgeting. Later on when he phoned Hide and no one answered, his fingers started to twitch and he started biting his lower lip. No one noticed except Yukiko and Yuuta, Suzuki san's son.

They frowned upon this and were worried about him.

In the morning when they were about to have breakfast, Takahashi san noticed that Kaneki wasn't there. She went upstairs to find him, only to find Kaneki in his room with a kitchen knife in his hand.

Takahashi san gasped, "What are you doing with that knife?!"

But Kaneki seemed to be stuck in his own world. "I-I can't l-live without Hide!" he cried, "H-hide, where's H-hide?" He was about to hurt himself when Takahashi san leapt forward and grabbed the knife from him. Suzuki san hurried upstairs and called a psychiatrist. Then he sent people to fetch Hide.

When Hide saw men in black suits outside on his doorstep, he knew that something happened to Kaneki.

When Hide walked in Kaneki's room, he found Kaneki on the floor, sniffing quietly. He walked towards him and hugged him. Kaneki hugged him back and cried on his chest. Slowly Kaneki fell asleep in Hide's arms.

The psychiatrist asked Suzuki san and his terrified sister about Kaneki's condition, he came down to one conclusion: Kaneki had Dependent Personality Disorder. It was a personality disorder that causes the patient to be very clingy to those who are very important to them in their lives.

The psychiatrist also noticed how his fingers twitches asked Hide about Kaneki's life before being adopted by Takahashi san. Hide played with Kaneki's hair as Kaneki's head laid comfortably on his lap. He told them about how Kaneki's mother used to abuse him.

The adults sat in shock. They couldn't believe that a child could be treated so poorly.

After the psychiatrist left, Yukiko called Hide to come outside to speak to him.

"I'm don't exactly know what happened to Kaneki but I could possibly guess why you're here," she said, looking at Hide. "If you dare hurt Kaneki in any sort of way I will kill you."  Hide looked at her, "I will never hurt Kaneki."

By the corridor, Takahashi san overheard their conversation. Right now she had questions floating about in her mind. Questions such as:

'I thought they were four-year-olds? Since when are four-year-olds so serious???'

'I always thought that Yukiko was a sweet little girl?'

'And Hide... wasn't he supposed to be that bright funny kid? What happened to the character settings?'

'And why are they talking about Kaneki like that? Is my new son getting married???'

I finally wrote a chapter in soooooooo long. I think I procrastinate wayyyyyy to much. If you can comment on the story it might help me to write more. At this point I think I might take four years to finish this story. 😂 Anyways i hope you enjoyed this chapter ~
