For the longest time, humans have had the tendency to survive, like animals. We have our needs and we strive towards what we need in order to pleasure ourselves.

We do things and say things in order to appease ourselves and others, to relax and spend an enjoyable time, even in places where those are limited. We always try to find ways to pleasure ourselves, but for what? To feel less alone, to know that there are enormous ways to relieve our pent up stresses, our unsaid thoughts, to run away from our fears and responsibilities, to convince ourselves that there are others out there and near us who we can confide in, to make sure that we are not alone.

Late into the night ,people, young and old, bustled into the busy streets under the glimmer of millions of lights. Some were rushing on their way home while others were in no hurry at all, as if they got all the time in the world, finding ways to enjoy themselves, some solo and others in groups. Their youthful energy and their laughters indicated the life of the night . Taiwan, a small island, but consists of everything . If the day was calm and serene, nighttime in Taiwan, especially Taipei, was energetic and full of life.Hundreds and thousands of buildings stood erect, surrounded by glistening water on all sides, and at all corners were where every kind if action begins in the night.

" Come on babe, we gotta hurry.Everyone's waiting!"

The man's cheerful voice filled the entire room as he burst through the huge door. His navy blue suit and tight black pants hugged his tall and well proportioned body remarkably well. Making his way to the woman who stood, arms folded over her chest, in front of the huge and impressive glass walls, overlooking the entire nightview of Taipei, the tall and lean male wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder, his sharp features accentuated by the cast of light on his face. A contented smile etched on his face as he was captivated by her smell, by her, driving his mind and heart crazy.

" The view never gets boring, doesn't it?"

He chuckled at the mesmerizing view in front. The woman hummed in agreement, she could feel his minty cologne and the warmth that radiated from him. Removing the arms around her waist slowly, feeling just how strong and muscular the man really was under the lean exterior, the beautiful raven haired walked towards the kitchen and poured herself a glass of wine. Admiring the beautiful and elegant person in front of him, the man followed suit.

" You okay? Everyone's already there and are waiting for us. Heck! Jace even called me like six times already the past 10 minutes."

He laughed as he leaned on the kitchen counter. It wouldn't be a lie if he said he was always mesmerized and amazed by her, even if she was just standing there, pouring a glass of wine.

" I'm fine. I just don't feel like going tonight."

She handed him his glass of wine, which he put back down as soon as he grabbed it.

"But babe~ its our last night! And it gets boring without you."

He cooed at her and pouted, hoping that his handsome face would be enough to convince her, but all he got was a light chuckle and a shake of the head in disbelief.

" Are you serious? I know, you know how to always have fun. What makes it more exciting if I'm there? Besides, you know I don't really like clubs."

Since his handsome face and silly but adorable act clearly wasn't working, the man sighed in dejection. He knew she was hardheaded, and it was a difficult task to let her do something she doesn't want to, but that had never stopped him from trying, and neither will it now.

" Then, we can go someplace else. Maybe....Sun Moon Lake? We haven't been there for..a while..you know."

His voice sounded unsure and hesitant and his eyes searched for answers, probably because he wasn't sure how she'd react. Her smile was small and he knows she was forcing it.
