you and austin had been spending the day in his room watching marvel movies, it was your lazy day. no school work to worry about, no classes, you were just chillin'.

"oooo, here comes the best part." austin said, sitting at the end of the bed, intensely watching the tv screen, not paying attention to anything else.

"austin, i'm getting tired." austin stuck out his index finger at you telling you to wait a second.

"austinnnn," you whined. he turned his head to face you, "yes, sweetheart." he was slightly annoyed.

"come cuddle with me. i'm getting tired." austin sighed out of aggression and slight sadness and turned his head back to the tv, "but baby you know this is my favorite part."

"but i'm tireddd." you yawned. austin watched the screen for a few more seconds before turning it off and putting the remote on the dresser.

"i'll be right back." austin walked downstairs to get a cup of water and a chocolate bar.

when he got back, he saw you looking at the ceiling in deep thought. "you okay, baby?" he questioned, but you ignored him.

"come on, talk to me." austin climbed into bed right beside you.

"if you had to choose one, would you choose me or that movie?" you questioned, you thought you knew the answer but after what happened today you weren't sure. "i, of course, would choose you." austin gave you a questionable look. "it just feels like you loved that 'best part' of that movie over me." you looked in to his eyes and saw regret.

"baby, you know if my life were a movie, you would definitely be the best part," he gently touched your cheek, "but my life isn't a movie, it's not fiction, it's fact. you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. i don't want you to forget that you are the best part." he planted a kiss on your lips before you could respond. you smiled into the kiss.
