*Amanda's POV*

"AHHHHH." I screamed myself awake.

Someone was hitting me or something. I felt dizzy and sore.

"Shut the fuck up." I heard Austin's voice.

Austin took a knife and slid it down my leg.

I tried not to cry, because my head hurt. It would only cause more pain.

Austin sliced my legs. I had blood all over me and a burning feeling.

"OWWW!" I screamed again.

Minutes later Jake and Vanessa came in and tackled him. Vanessa got the me untied and helped me out of the room while Jake was beating Austin half to death. Vanessa threw me some clean clothes to put on. She threw three bags at me and told me that all of my stuff was in the bag. I nodded and cried to her. She kissed my forehead and hugged me.

"I'll call you tomorrow Amanda. I love you, but you have to leave. Jake and I heard you screaming really loud, and that's what woke us up. You have to leave now, because we also heard your mom on the phone and she said that she was gonna sell you to some guys so that they could have sex with you and beat you. Just listen to me and leave. Don't come back, ever." Vanessa had tears in her eyes.

"Okay. Okay." I said as I wiped the tears away.

"Here are your car keys, leave."

I nodded and then went to my dresser and grabbed my drugs. I have a feeling that I'm going to need these later.

"Oh, here is the money that Jake, Em, and I have been saving for you. " She smiled and handed me a wad of money.

"I can't take this." I tried handing it back to her.

"Take it. It's only seven thousand dollars. It's really nothing. Plus you need it."

"Fine, whatever." I put the wad of money in my pocket.

"Bye Amanda. I love you."

"Bye." I cried.

With that, I ran down the stairs as fast as I could and got into my car. I turned it on and left in a heartbeat. I have no clue where I'm going, but it's for sure going to be far away from this hell.

I drove all the way to California when I thought that I was far enough away from my house. I lived in Colorado, so I think I'm good now. I drove all the way to a house that was familiar to me. I think I've met someone here before. I turned my car off and fell asleep. This sucks so freaking much.

* * *

I woke up to someone tapping on my window just loud enough that I would hear it. I rolled my window down and just stared at the guy.

"Sorry to bother you, but why are you in front of my house?" The guy asked. He was a little blurry because I didn't have my contacts in.

"Sorry. I just left my house last night, and I have no where to go. It's a long story." I said as I opened my bag and reached for my glasses. When I put them on and looked at the guy again, I could not believe my eyes, it was him.
