*Cameron's POV*

I shot my head backwards and I looked towards Amanda's mom. How does she know that Amanda is here?

"I'm so sorry." Emma cried.

Oh.

"You fucking told her that I was here? What kind of best friend are you? I trusted you!" Amanda shouted at Emma. Tears were dripping down Amanda's cheeks as he screamed at Emma.

I saw a guy walk out of the truck and I'm assuming it was Austin. I wanted to beat the shit out of him for what he did to Amanda. This is bullshit.

"Let's go Amanda, I have big plans for you tonight." He laughed and walked up to Amanda and I.

"I'm not leaving." Amanda cried.

"Babygirl, you don't disrespect me like that. Now let's go." He said and then spit on the driveway.

"I said that I'm not fucking going. Leave, now."

"I said that you're fucking coming with me and your mom. Now get in the damn truck!" Austin shouted and grabbed a handful of Amanda's hair.

I quickly reacted and punched him in the jaw. I kept doing it repeatedly until he let go of Amanda. When he let go and fell to the ground, I got on top of him and started to punch him harder and faster.

Bang. Bang. Pop. Pop. As soon as that happened, I couldn't hear anything and things went black.

*Amanda's POV*

I dropped to the ground and crawled over to Cameron when I heard the gun shots. I saw Gina in a distance and she was already crying, like me. Austin dropped to the ground too. I don't know where he got shot, but I knew it was bad.

"Cameron." I shouted and tried my hardest to turn him over.

"Cam." I repeated.

He wouldn't wake up. I looked for the bullet hole, but I couldn't find one. I picked him up and his head to my chest and rocked back and fourth with him.

"Cameron, don't do this to me. I can't lose you. Please." I cried.

"GINA, CALL THE COPS!" I shouted. She ran inside when she heard me and did.

"Who shot the gun?" I asked Jake. My ears were still ringing from the loud shot.

"Your mom. She missed Austin twice and hit you and Cam." Jake yelled.

"Why did she shoot Austin?" I asked him with a confused look.

"We'll tell you at the hospital. Can you feel your wound?" Jake had a worried look on his face and crawled over to me and Cameron so that I could actually hear him.

"No." I shook my head. "Where is it?"

"Your side." Jake crawled over to me.

"No I did-" I stopped because I looked down and saw a pool of blood coming from the side of my stomach.

The adrenaline that was pumping through me made me not feel my injury.

I looked back and saw my mom. She looked horrified. The cops pulled up into the driveway and so did the ambulance. I told them that I was fine, but they didn't listen. I got in the back of the ambulance with Cameron and we drove off.
