*Jake's POV*
I sat in a hospital room with Amanda and Cameron. They were both asleep and next to each other. Amanda wouldn't let them get separated, so the nurses finally gave in, and Amanda passed out.
Cameron hasn't woken up, so we are all worried. Well they are, not so much of me.
"Uhhh." Amanda whined and tried to move.
"Don't move." I warned her.
"Why not? Where am I?" She asked.
"You're in the hospital because you got shot in the side."
"Where's Cameron?" She started getting worried.
"Calm down, he's in the bed next to you. Just try not to turn much. You promised that you wouldn't if the nurses put you guys in the same room."
"Fine" She turned her head a little.
A smiled formed across her face and she looked back at me. She looked drained of energy.
"So what happened?"
"Your mom shot Austin and a bullet missed him and hit Cameron and almost hit his heart, and you got in the way and your mom accidentally shot you." I told her.
"Why did she shoot Austin?"
"We don't need to get into that today. You're super exhausted already and you're in no condition to be told what happened." I looked away from Amanda.
"Please Jake."
"No. Not today Amanda. Wait until Cameron wakes up. Oh and there was some guy here to see you."
"Who?" She asked and tried to sit up.
"Calm down, seriously. It was a guy named Nash." I sighed.
"Tell him to come here. I want to see him." Amanda urged.
"Alright." I got up out of my chair, and went to get him.
"Hey, Amanda wants you in there." I pointed inside the room.
"She's finally up." He smiled and walked into the room. I walked in after him and sat back in my spot.

"You're finally up." Nash smiled when he walked into the room.
"I'm so glad to see you." I tried to keep calm.
"Me too. Can I hug you?" Nash asked.
"Yeah, just be careful of my side."
Nash got close to me and wrapped his arms around me. I wrapped my arms around him and started to cry a little. Why do I have mixed emotions with him and Cameron? I can't think straight.
"It's okay Amanda." He rubbed my back.
"I wish it was."
"It is. Cam will be fine." Nash kissed my cheek.
"I hope." I wiped my tears and let go of Nash. "I want to get off of these fucking machines too."
"I was supposed to tell the nurses when you were up, but I figured you would want to see him before they all smothered you." Jake spoke up.
"Okay." Is all I said. I'm not speaking to Jake until he tells me what is going on.
"I'll go get them. If you want me to." Nash offered.
"Please do."
"Okay. I'll be back."
"I could've done that for you." Jake huffed.
"But you didn't."
"Whatever Amanda." Jake got up and walked out of the room.
A few seconds later Nash returned with the nurses.
"You put up quite the fight. You sure didn't want to be separated from your boyfriend." The nurse with shiny blonde hair smiled at me. I didn't care if they thought Cameron was my boyfriend because he was close enough to it.
I saw Nash's jaw drop, but I gave him a look and he nodded.
"Yeah. I guess I did." I smiled at her.
"Hey, I know who you are. I watch your videos. You make me laugh all the time and you give me great confidence. That's why I'm here today." She smiled more.
"Really? I didn't think that I'd actually inspire people and give them confidence. I'm sorry, but how old are you?" I asked.
"I'm twenty-three." She smiled and unhooked me from one of the machines that I was on.
"Wow." I sighed. "Not that way, I mean I didn't know that people in their twenties would watch my videos."
"It's fine, I understand. Let's unhook you from this mess." She tightened her pony-tail and then unhooked me from the rest of the machines. "There you are. We just need your parent to sign you out."
"I don't know where my mom is."
"I'll go get her."
When the nurse left, I got off of the bed and went to Cameron's bed. I put one of my hands on his, while the other traced his jaw line. I couldn't help but study him.
He looked so cute, even though he was hurt really bad. I placed a soft kiss on his lips and sat on his bed. I wish he'd wake up, the surgery seemed to go well because they have a bandage over his wound and everything.
"I love you Cameron. I really need to tell you my life story. It's crazy, but I want you to know me. I want you to know me better than anyone else. I want you to wake up." I had a tear in my eye, but I wiped it out of the corner.
"We can't find your mom." The blonde nurse came in.
"Can you just let Gina sign the papers?" I asked.
"I shouldn't let her, but sure thing." She smiled.
I couldn't be more thankful to have her as my nurse.
