Chapter Eighteen.

Terra

I woke up to someone squeezing my hand. "Baby girl" Rio said with hurt in his eyes. He looked as if he had been crying. "Rio" I said low. My body was in so much pain it was killing me. "Yes it's me" he said rubbing my leg. I started to look around and noticed no one else was in the room. "Rio Where is Riya" I said in a worried tone. "I don't know, but she's not here" Rio said. "What do you mean she's not here" I said trying to get up. "Bae no what you doing" he said trying to keep me still. "You just had a severe car-wreck Terra" he added. "Car-wreck" I said with no remembrance. "You don't remember what happened" he said looking at me confused. "I uh not really I just remember Riya" I said. "Your car flipped and caught fire baby girl the man who was driving the truck said you hit him head on" he said. "And baby stop worrying about Riya she's with Monte so she good" He said added. I let out a breath of relief. "I'm starting to remember now Rio" I said. "Soon as I seen you on the news I flew down here ma" he said shaking his head. "Oh and Daris is here I gave him some money to go get something to drink" he added. "Where is my husband" I said. "Daris said Riya brought him here and me and little man been here ever since" Rio said. I smiled "thank you Rio for looking after my kids" I said grabbing his hand. He smiled. "Anything for you" he said.

It made me feel some type of way that my own husband wasn't here to make sure I was straight or too even look after our kids. This let me further know where the fuck me and my kids stood with Rari. He rather be laid up in some pussy then to handle his responsibilities. Besides if Rio seen it on the news then Rari did too.

"Mommy" Daris said running to me. "Daris" I said. "Are you okay mommy" Daris said. "Yea I'm fine baby boy you have nothing to worry about" I said kissing his cheek. He returned the kiss. ""What do you say to Rio" I said to Daris. "Thank you Rio for buying me this" Daris said referring to his drink and chips. "No problem little man" Rio said with a smile.
"Ahh I see your finally awake after three days" the doctor said. "Go sit over there for mommy and eat your food" I said to Daris. He got up and walked over to the chair in the corner. "Three days" I said in shock. "Yes ma'am little man been here for three days he refused to leave his mom side" The doctor said with a smile. "You raised an amazing boy" he added. "Thank you" I said with a smile. "Well your tests came back okay as you can see" he said pulling back the cover. "You have a cast on. In the crash you broke your ankle" he continued. "So can I go home" I asked. "Tomorrow you will be released until then just let me know if you need anything for pain or just in general" he said covering my leg back up. "Okay thank you" I said. "No thank you" he said shaking my hand. He started to walk for the door then stopped. "Rio I almost forgot" he said unsnapping something from his clipboard. Rio stood up and met him half way. "Thanks man" Rio said. "No problem" the doctor said closing the door behind him. Rio came and sat back down. He stuck the envelope in his back pocket. "What's that?" I asked. "Nothing I'm a go grab us something to eat" Rio said changing the subject. "It's more then something" I said wondering. "What do lil man like to eat" Rio said straight ignoring me. I rolled my eyes. "Yo I said it was nothing so let it go aight don't worry yourself out" he said kissing my cheek. "He likes pizza" I said answering his question and dropping the subject for good. He smiled. "Bet I'll be back" he said leaving the room.

I laid back to relax until Rio came back. I say about five minutes max someone came walking thru the door.
Rari.
I rolled my eyes. "Dad" Daris said running up to him. "Wassup man" Rari said. "Nothing where you been mommy been here for three days" Daris said taking the words out my mouth. "Yea where you been" I said trying to sit up. "Aye Daris can you go buy me a drink" he said handing him a ten dollar bill. "Okay" he said rushing out the door. Rari walked over to me. "Why you here" I said with an attitude. "Your my wife Terra" he said. I smacked my lips. "You wasn't worried about your wife when you was over there fucking that bitch" I said. "I messed up alright, but baby I love you and when I heard about what happened I just couldn't face you" he said in a cracky voice. "This is my fault" he said letting his tear fall. I shook my head. I felt the tears coming. I love this man to death, but what he did I could never forgive him only because I put my all into this man. I gave up so much for me to be with this man and how he did me is unforgivable. "When I get out the hospital which is tomorrow" I said wiping my tears. "I want you gone I don't want you at the house Rari" I said. "So you just want it to be done just like that T" he said getting loud. I nodded my head yes. "After all I did for you T you just gone give up on a nigga after one fucking mistake" he yelled. "After all you did for me no Rari after all I did for you what the fuck it takes two to have an working marriage and it takes one mistake to fuck one up" I said. He nodded his head. "You got it T" he said reaching in his pocket. He pulled out my wedding ring and tossed it in the trash by the door. "Take care ma" he said leaving the room.

I took a deep breath and cried silently. I can't believe Rari and I are FINISHED.
