one year later. .

After what went down that day everything been all over the place. After Riya's funeral me and Rari got a divorce. It was hard for me you know. I lost my first born and my first love all in one year. Thanks to Rio he picked up the broken pieces once again. He helped me get myself back together. We ended up moving in together and now I'm pregnant with his baby once again.

As for everyone else, Monte got fifteen years for killing that little girl. We go see him every Tuesday. He says when he get out he was going to change. Riya death shook him up. Bishop was charged with kidnapping, two gun charges and two counts of first degree murder. They gave him 25 years to life. After a few months in jail Monte said Bishop wasn't built for it. He hung himself in his cell. Nikki lost her mind and blamed herself for everything. Then after hearing about Bishop she really lost it. Chris and his wife checked her into an hospital to get her some help. As for China, she wrote me from jail telling me how she was sorry. We talked out our differences from the past. As hard as it was I even forgave her for killing Riya. Forgiveness is key to happiness. I had to forgive everyone to move on with my life so me forgiving China is for closure.

I was dressed in a bright yellow dress and some black wedges. Today is the day we buried Riya. So Rio put together something for her. "Everyone ready" Rio said with a smile. I smiled. "On a count of three everybody" I said. "One, two and three" I added letting my balloon go. I watched as every color balloon floated and filled the beautiful blue sky. Rio only wanted blue balloons because that was Riyas favorite color. I told him no because colorful balloons explained Riya. I couldn't accept the fact she was lesbian. We bumped heads so much in the past about her sexuality. I just want her to know that her moma understands now. "I would like to thank everyone that came out here today" I said crying tears of joy. "I know Riya would be so happy" I continued. "Yea she would" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up and it was my brother Chris. I ran to him like a little girl at a park. I haven't seen him in so long. "I'm sorry I missed the funeral sis I just couldn't do it" he said hugging me tight. "It's okay" I said. "Slim" I yelled hugging him as well. "At least someone happy to see me" slim said joking. "Where is your crazy wife" I asked Slim. He rolled his eyes. "I had to leave her at home her crazy ass can't go nowhere" Slim said laughing. "Have you spoke to Rari" Chris asked. I shook my head no. "I ain't seen him since the divorce" I admitted. I had to admit I miss Rari. He was my first everything but, I knew we wouldn't have worked things out. A divorce was going to happen regardless. "He right over there" Chris said. "Go speak to him" he added. "I don't think he wants to speak to me" I said taking a deep breath. "Trust me sis he can use the conversation and besides y'all shouldn't have ended the way y'all did" Chris said. I nodded and made my way over to Rari.

"You waiting for someone" I said. He smiled. "You" he said. "How are you" I asked. Rari also got hurt that day. A bullet hit him in his back. It hit a few of his nerves and making him limp and he has to walk with a cane. "Living I guess" he said. "I see you doing good" he added looking at my belly. "It ain't that noticeable" I said rolling my eyes. "I'm happy for you though T" Rari said. "Thank you" I said. "I'm for real T Rio got him someone special I hope he treat you better than I did" Rari said looking me in my eyes. Even though Rari cheated. I cheated too. We both were in the wrong. When me and Rari was together he treated me like a princess. "I hope the next woman you let into your life treat you better than I did Rari your a good man and I will always love you no matter what" I said pulling him into a hug. He held onto me tight. "I'll always love you more T no matter what" he said. I gave him one last smile and walked away. My feelings for Rari would never change. I would never think Rari and I would come to an end. We been through so much together. He made me into the woman I am today.

"You good baby" Rio said with smile. I nodded my head. "I'm pregnant" I blurted out. Rio kissed me. "I already knew" he said laughing. I hit him. "You always finding some out" I said rolling my eyes. "You my baby and besides I'm supposed to know everything about you if you gone be Mrs Davis" he said smiling.

I smiled Davis didn't sound so bad.
