"Rio we aint kicked it in a long ass time" I said with a cheesy smile. "Rari got that ass on a leash" Rio joked. "Fuck you nigga" I said jokely. "Im a grown ass woman besides Rari the one on the leash" I said laughing. Rio chuckled. "Yea ma I hear you, but how you been baby its been some months" he said. "I thought I thought I wouldnt be seeing you again" he added. "You know I be busy with work and shit" I said. "And nigga you the one got a little girlfriend and got brand new" I said rolling my eyes. "Is yo ass jealous" Rio teased. "Me" I said pointing to myself. "Never that" I said taking a sip of my water. "I missed you though for real ma we had a real good friendship" Rio said. "Yea we had some good times" I admitted. Even though Rari told me to stay away from Rio, I just couldn't. The scene we had years back never happened again. Me and him became really close after that. Our kids are now the best of friends. So why couldnt we ? I mean Rari would kill me if he found out that Rio and I be going to dinner and shit, but who cares. You dont see me causing a scene when it comes to Rari friends. "Yea some real good times" Rio said biting his bottom lip. "Let me rephrase that a real good time not times and besides I wasn't even on that" I admitted. "But I was you know you miss me baby" he said. "No I miss our friendship not the dick Rio know the difference" I said. "Yea yea I know the difference and I also know when you lien" He said. "Oh really now and how you figure that im lien" I said smiling. "I dont lie to you no ways" I said. He leaned over in his seat and got close. "I miss you T" he said letting his lips connect to the side of my neck. "Look rio" I said pushing his head back gently. "Im a married woman and I love my husband" I said. "I can respect that T" he said showing a bright smile. I checked the time on my phone and it was going on 2 am. "Rio its getting late and I have to go work at 6" I said. "Stay the night with me and ill take you home in the morning to get dressed and take you to work" he said. "Thank you, but no I dont got time to hear Rari mouth and plus he crazy he would come find my black ass" I joked. Rio laughed. "He would find my black ass too" He said laughing. I leaned over and gave Rio a warm hug. "Thank you Rio your alwags there when I need you" I said giving him a friendly kiss on the cheek. "Your forever welcome" he said returning the love. I got out his car and walked to mine. "See you later T dont forget the phone works both ways" he said smiling. "I wont Rio goodnight" I said getting in my car. I couldnt stop smiling. I was way to happy to be back friends with Rio.

"Nigga what you still doing up" I said to my son. He smacked his lips. "Its only two some" he said. I sat on the couch across from him and kicked my shoes off. "Where you been at" he asked. "Out with my lady friend" I said flicking through tv channels. "Who Riya mom" Monte said smiling. "Nigga why you so damn nosey all of a sudden" I said not taking my eyes off the Tv. "Shit I dont know its obvious you stay talking about her" Monte said throwing his hands up. "Yea I just like to know how she doing you feel me you remember how close we was" I said. "We're just trying to get that bond back" I added. "Yea pops I understand" my son said. "But yo pops on the real I been thinking" he added. "About" I said cutting my eyes his way. "Its about the family business" Monte said. "What about it" I asked. "I want in" He said. "Its not a job son you just cant quit when you want to" I said. "Its really a forever thing" I added. "I know that and im ready to make my own money my girl pregnant" he said. "And you just now saying something Monte" I said getting loud. "Damn rubbers aint in style nomore" I added. "Man yea I strapped up and shit pops she just told me today" he said angrily. "If you strapped up you wouldn't be bringing a child into this world" I said. "Pops I never went in raw" Monte yelled. "Yea I hear yo lien ass Monte yo ass just hard headed ass fuck thats one reason why I don't think I should let you get the connect" I said standing up. "I made a name for myself I aint trying to have my hardheaded ass son fuck shit up and we all be fucked, I told yo ass months ago to get off them blocks and get yo ass in some books, but Monte if this the life you want then you got it dont be coming back to me when its harder than what you think" I added loudly. "Pops I know, I have a child on the way I cant depend on you forever" He said. "Hell no you can't" I said. "So whats up pops you gone fuck with me or not" he said. "Shit you know who your grandfather is ain't shit stopped you before from doing whatever you wanted so son do yo thang im going to bed" I said leaving my son
to make his own decision.
