JESSE

'I'm done.' I scowl at the boss.

He doesn't say anything. He just looks at me.

'Do you hear me? I'm done! I quit.' I raise my voice.

He looks more deeply into my pupils, making me shudder. I try not to show it.

'You realise, Mr Pendleton,  in this cooperation that I can make people do things. I'm making you do this. If you do not obey the rules you know that I can break your legs and kill everyone you love. Or you can keep on dealing meth and we can forget this ever even happened. So. Which is it? Dealing or in a wheelchair?' he said everything so fast and clear, with no falter.

I took a moment to take it all in. He was the wrong man to mess with...  But I'm not going to let him rule my life.

'The second one.' I mumbled, eyebrows furrowed at him. I hated him.

'Hm.' He said quite abruptly.

I got up from my seat and stormed out of his office.

I don't think, I've ever made such a big mistake, in my life.

CRISTAL

I want to see Jesse. He hasn't replied to my texts and I really want to tell him something. Something quite big, too.

I decide to call him. I find his name.

Ring 1...

Ring 2...

Ring 3...

He picks up!

'Hello?' His voice sounds hoarse.

'Hey, I was wondering if I could see you later.' I beam.

'Sure. What time?'

'Half an hour? I want to tell you something... Important.'

'Okay. See you.' I heard his smile.

The line goes silent as I pick myself off my bed and get dressed in something more appropriate.

Just a pair of black leggings and a crimson burgundy strap top.

Mum's asleep on the couch so I leave a note, saying that I'd be back at ten or eleven pm.

I leave and walk to Jesse's. I knock on his door and it opens rather quickly.

'Hey!' he smiles brightly, stepping forward and kissing me on my cheek.

'Hi,' I say, breathing in his scent.

'Come in.' he stepped aside and lets me in.

Finnick came over and greeted me by pouncing at my knees. I sit down on the couch while Finnick runs to another room. Jesse sits down next to me.

'Do you want something? A drink?' he asks

'No, thank you. I'm good.' I glance at his mouth.

'What did you want to talk about?' he sits back on the couch.

'I want to talk about what happened the other day. With me stopping in the middle of... us...'

'Making out.' he finishes my sentence for me, laughing.

'Yup. Which was probably going to lead to something else...'

'Mmhm...' he looked at me, figuring out what I was going to say.

'We kinda let it go but... I've decided that I am ready. So, when you want to, let me know.' My mouth broke out into an embarrassing smile as I flushed a bright red on my cheeks.

'Well, I appreciate your statement, that you are ready.' He drifted off, looking away.

Silence.

'You want to...' I start

'Do you want to...'

'I uh...'

I looked at him.

He turned to me.

He leaned in and we kissed. Soft at first and then rougher. His hand slithered up and down my waist. Then suddenly grasping me tight, lifting me in the air. He held me, bridal style, carrying me to his room.

He lay on me, licking my lips and experimenting different movements in my mouth. He stopped, pulled away and looked in the other direction.

'You okay, Jesse?' I rubbed his arm in reassurance.

'Yeah, cool.'

I kissed him on the cheek.

I nodded.

We intertwined our fingers.
