My hair was a mess. The wind whipped my scarf around my body and random strands of hair blew in my face as I made my way up the stairs to school. "Did you finish that home work then Liv?" Nat questioned.

"Actually I was just doing it at home until I was so rudely interrupted by the door bell." I replied, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh I see," he replied, "you didn't know what to write so you left it until last minute to finish."

"Yes!" I sighed. "Today is the last day of school anyway so its not like they can really do much about it!" The sudden remembrance that today was my last ever day at school, lifted my spirits and the rest of the day flashed by. I spent most of my day with Nat as I usually do, seens as he's super smart and in all my lessons. First we had maths together. I probably struggle in this subject more than any other, but it's okay because Nat sits behind me and always helps me If I get stuck on anything. "Hey liv" he whispered into my ear, "you fancy going to the movies tonight, you know, to celebrate finishing school and everything?"

"Well, depends. Do I have to go with you?" I replied sarcastically, my words greeted by a grin from him.

"YOU TWO IN THE BACK, STOP TALKING AND DO YOUR WORK"

"Busted" I heard a beautiful voice say from right behind me. Ew! since when did I start thinking Nat's voice was beautiful?

Anyway, the rest of the day carried on normally, Nat and I had lunch in the canteen with Joey and Becca, my two other best friends, then we had chemistry, our last ever lesson which was graphics, and we were free. Free from high school at long last.
