Chapter 13

· After the birthday party ·

Sora's POV

Dad said that there was something in the box that might help me so i searched through and saw a letter, a locket, and a photo album.
I first read the letter and it said

Hey sweetie, it's mommy.
( And daddy!!!!)

Sorry about that but your father really want to write along with me that he keeps on stealing the pen from me. (Am not! ...... maybe just a little bit.) Happy 14th birthday baby, mommy and daddy loves you so much, i'm sure your brother does too. This might sound crazy but this letter is mainly to talk or tell you about love....

Love is something precious and those who have it are very lucky. It has more power than people dare to imagine. That was what my mother, your grandmother, told me when i was young. She once read that people who think of love as a weakness are simply afraid of that power. For me and your father, love is something worth fighting for.
Baby, when i met your father, i knew nothing of love. So i kept on pushing him away because i did not know what i felt. Your father almost gave up on courting me when i realized it was love. I almost lost your father and i don't want that to happen to you as well.

( If you really love someone, you can't live without them.
You can't imagine yourself going on without them by your side and you know that your life would be worse, incomplete, if you had not met that person. Whenever i think of a life without your mother, it is horrible. She is everything to me and i love her so much. )

Just like your father said, that person would make you feel whole, would be your world and your comfort zone.
That is how you know what love is.

Infatuation is different from love. Infatuation is where you find the guy perfect, the ideal guy for you. While love is where you don't see him perfect, he has some flaws but you would never care. It wouldn't mean a thing to you anymore. That is because you truly love him. Baby, i hope that what we're saying here would help you because it is normal that at your age, you would probably fall in love.

Baby we love you so much! I hope you'll meet the right guy, that he would love you the same way i do to your father.

As i finished reading the letter, i felt heat rush to my cheeks. I knew i was blushing. Then, i looked at the photo album and it was full of my pictures. The day i was born, my first time to crawl, my first walk with me stumbling and having a determined face while making grabby hands towards my father. There was also a picture with a caption that says ' Sora's first words: Mama! '
There were a lot of pics that meant a lot to me, i placed the album at my desk on top of the one Fumio-baachan gave me earler. I looked at the last thing on the small box, the locket, or should i say lockets, there were six of them. The 6 lockets were connected by a red ribbon. I opened them one by one to find it empty besides the last one i was currently holding, i opened it to see mommy's writing.

"One for you and your prince. 4 for your children. Take good care of it.
Love,
Mommy

Ugh! I'm just 14 years old and it seems like they are ready for me to have a family of my own. But...

..... because of that, i realized i am in love with a certain someone. Takumi Aldini, Taku-chan.

I think it was around February that i last published here
Some of those written in the letter are not completely mine. I have read it somewhere and i can't really remember.....
(I'm such a horrible person)

Anyways, Sora will confront Takumi in the next chapter. What do you think Sora said at the camp that her beloved had ignored her? What did Shinomiya-senpai see that made Sora so flustered on their way home to the dorm?

I hate to say this but I kind of have writer's block as of the moment.. I really am sorry guys :'(

It's just family and friends stuff that I am dealing with right now. I really am sorry. Hope you can wait until I get my motivation back and get things settled.
