I woke up abruptly in class, Bowe shaking me awake,"Dude, Mr. Shulken is about to notice!" I looked at Bows and chuckled,"He always catches me anyway." Bowe was a rather small boy, he had pale skin with blonde hair. His crystal blue eyes were soft and always happy.
A few minutes later the bell rang and we stood up out of our seats and walked out the classroom. "Well, now that's it lunch.." Bowe tapped his chin and smirked,"Do you a dollar?" He rubbed the back of his neck,"For a cupcake..?" I rolled my eyes and took a five dollar bill out. "This is what I ha-" He cut me off,"I can work with it." He slipped it in his pocket. I rolled my eyes and walked to the salad bar.
I sat down, a ham sandwich and an apple on my tray. Bowe hopped over to 'our' table. When I say 'our' table, I mean the thirsty Barbie cheerleaders run over to our table. Their somewhat leader of the pack is Jess. Jess is well, attractive. We've went out once or twice and now that we've been over for a month, she's still trying to hook up.
Eric handed me two cupcakes and smiled,"I had some extras." He licked his lips and started stuffing his face with his three other cupcakes. I rolled my eyes and began eating again. Jess slipped next to me smiling,"Hey Corben!" I smiled,"Hey Jess." Two other girls slipped next to Bowe watching him stuff his face,"He's so cute!" I chuckled and took a bite of my cupcake. Jess just scoot closer and took a bite out it too. "I wanna talk to you about something.. At my house...?" I smiled,"Okay." She jumped up and smiled. She motioned for her friends to follow and they did. They walked off to the other cheerleaders.
After Lunch me and Bowe walked over to our next class.
After all of our classes, I waved at Bowe and he waved back as we walked our separate ways.
I approached Jess's door, knocking firmly. She opened the door, she was wearing a purple tank top and black shorts. She smiled and hugged me,"Thanks for coming." I smiled back in response. She may seem like that big old barbie girl who cares only about boys, but knowing her for awhile she isn't that person. She's caring, smart, responsible, and nice. I sighed,"I have something to tell you too." She grasped my hand and led me upstairs.
We sat, criss cross applesauce, together on her bed. We stared at each other, big smiles on our faces. She giggled,"You first..." I sighed ,"Let's say it together.." she nodded. I closed my eyes and said,"I wanna get back together.." Her eyes widened,"I was gonna say I moved on..." My eyes widened a bit,"Oh." I chuckled,"I-I'm kidding." She raised an eyebrow. I stood up,"Well. Look at the time. Heh." I waved and closed the door. I ran out the house and down the street. I ran into an abandoned church. I sat on the floor where a black flower was painted on the floor,"Mom.. please. I need help. Please come talk to me." Mild tears streamed down my cheeks. "Mayzen...."
